The Eurovision Good Old Days!

Thirteen countries will take part in this special Second Chance Retrospective Contest together with Guest Juries from Malta, Russia, Austria, Estonia, Latvia and Albania.

The draw for order of presentation was made in London early in August 2003. Below is the full list of participating entries.

Clubs from all over Europe will decide the winner of Second Chance Retrospective 1986.

08 Dec – Albanian voting clarified. Albania will vote! Thanks to Tefik.

22 Nov - Due to a Postal Problem in the UK, delays have occurred and voting is now valid up to midnight on 14 December 2003.

03 Nov – The British Post Office goes back to work – but there may be some delays! Please let me know when you have received your CD. Many thanks.

31 Oct - BRITISH POSTAL DISPUTE AFFECTS 86 CONTEST - Although all CD’s were issued over a week ago, many still sit in London sorting offices. It is hoped this dispute will be sorted very soon (they happen too often!) and that all Clubs will receive their CD. Although this is annoying, it is unavoidable and once CD’s are received, the closing date for voting will be re-set. Thank you for your patience.

23 Oct – CD’s in the post! Voting commences…..

14 Oct – Albania confirms. Votes will count. CD’s to be issued next week.

05 Oct – Slight delay with CD’s, but will be issued as soon as possible in October.

05 Oct – Sorry no more additional Guest Juries from today.

03 Oct – Still waiting to hear from Albania (10^th October deadline)! But Latvia join in as another Guest Jury….!

25 Sep – Possible addition of one final Guest Jury from Albania (awaiting confirmation).

25 Sep – Voting pages now available but CD’s will not be released until early October.

14 Sep – Songs will be issued to all voting countries early in October. Juries being formed.

12 Sep – ex-Yugoslav entry sorted.

12 Sep – All Entries Received – Thank you to all participating Countries! And David Elder!

02 Sep – ex-Yugoslav decision imminent.

31 Aug – ex-Yugoslav decision extended to 2^nd September.

31 Aug – Slovenia says no.

27 Aug – Confusion over ex-Yugoslav entry. Clubs in former Yugoslav nations to agree on their entry by the 31^st August, or Novi Fosili’s song will stand.

26 Aug – Closing Date for Active Participation is closed. 13 countries will take part.

26 Aug – Guest Juries still welcome – Latvia? Lithuania? Spain? Albania? Cyprus? Luxembourg? Switzerland?

26 Aug – Croatia and Slovenia – inclusion in ex-Yugoslav Jury awaited.

25 Aug – Some CD’s still awaited – PLEASE. (UK, Netherlands, Iceland, Belgium, Greece, Norway, Ireland received so far)

25 Aug – Estonia joins in!

17 Aug – Belgium says YES!

17 Aug – 25 August is deadline for participation and provision of CD/Tape of entry

16 Aug – Serbia & Montenegro joins the fun

10 Aug - Sweden declines to take part
