France will once
again use its Destination Eurovision format for 2019 - the quality contest
that produced Madame Monsieur for France in Lisbon. The contest will me made up of three live TV shows - two
semi-finals, and a final, with 4 songs from each semi final making the
Semi Final results will be decided by
public televoting (50%) and a 5-member international jury (50%). Results
in the final will be determined by public televoting (50%) and a 10-member
international jury (50%).
As for 2018, the shows will have comments made on the performances
by a 3-person panel with no voting rights: André Manoukian
(jazz singer), Christophe Willem (singer) and
18 Songs will participate for the right
to represent la France..
Semi Finals decided 8 songs to proceed to the Grand Final on 26th January
2019, with Bilal Hassani proving triumphant with his song 'ROI'
