01 ALBANIA

IMAZHI YT   (Your Reflection)  - ANJEZA SHAHINI

Your Opinions

Neil Norton, UK

A very promising debut for the Albanians, with a nice but jumpy song. Aneja can sing and with a good performance in the semi-final she can sell the song well and gain qualification for the Albanians. I would put this as a potential dark horse of 2004.

8

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Very good attempt Albania. Go Albania!

0

SECHUK

Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Good solid debut entry. A strong performance will give Albania a great chance to make the final.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Nothing special at all. Anyway, Albania you are wellcome.

3

Nico, Belgium

this is the big song for a first participation! Go to the final!

8

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

Imazhi Yt is very interesting but so boring a song for me ..

6

Luis Braga, Portugal

What a surprise. Albania, with it's first ESC entry, has many chances to be on the final in 2005. I like the song and the voice is great. One of my favourites.

9

Mark, UK

An excellent first entry. Welcome and Good Luck!

8

Paul, Germany

A good - but not spectacular - Albanian debut. The English version isn t bad and the song has little similarities with the Croatian jESC winner ( starts slow and gets more up tempo then ). Could qualify if Anjeza sings and performs well..

JUGAREM A ESTIMAR-NOS – MARTA ROURE

Your Opinions

SECHUK

A brave attempt for the first participation. Good to hear a new language and the song should receive some good scores.

0

Nico, Belgium

it's very bad for me

1

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Beautiful old fashioned song, which could pass the semifinal

7

Luis Braga, Portugal

Well, it seems that the new ESC countries tried hard to get to the final on 15th May. Andorra bring us a normal eurovision pop song, but with nice lyrics and a nice sound (specially the language). I think she can do well.

8

Max Surkont, Belarus

It's a very interesting optimistic song. I think we'll be able to see Andora on May15th :-)

8

Mark, UK

A good solid pop song and great to see a new language at the Contest.

7

Matthew, Poland

Song can be placed in end, but it unpleases me!

2

Paul, Germany

Intersting debut in Catalan. The song reminds me of an old " San Remo " song from the early eighties. It will be hard to qualify .......unfortunately !

DU BIST – TIE-BREAK

Your Opinions

SECHUK

An antidote to Alf … A thoughtful boyband ballad. Not likely to do as well as Alf, but deserves to, in all honesty.

0

Nico, Belgium

it's boring for me, sorry for austria but this year you will not to the top (1 out of 10)

1

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

After Alf's show Tie Break will be very usual on ESC  (5 out of 10)

5

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A very good song after the worst song ever heard from Austria from Alf Poir (7 out of 10)

7

Luis Braga, Portugal

After one of its worse songs, Austria returns to the ballad genre. It's a little old-fashioned, but it stays in our head after listen a couple of times. I don't think they are score much in the grand final. Maybe Austria didn't care much choosing its entry this year, as they have already a place on the final? (5 out of 10)

5

Max Surkont, Belarus

Boring old-fashioned song. So, Austria is not so much strong in ESC, but last year song was a rubbish, but it was origanal. What special has THAT song? ... (4 out of 10)

4

Mark, UK

Not a bad song but it just does not stand out.

6

Natalia, Poland

The worst so far. No need to say more...

0

Matthew, Poland

I like Austria very much, but song is average!

5

Paul, Germany

Well, not much to say about it. Boring and old fashioned - I expected A. Poier to do badly and I was wrong. But there won t be a " special performance " by " Tie Brake " this year...so I guess I am right this time ;-)

MOJ GALILEJ (My Galilieo) – ALEKSANDRA & KONSTANTIN

Your Opinions

SECHUK

The country sound / image seems a bit misplaced for Eurovision, but this is quite a sophisticated little number. Good production and the tune stays with you, even if you can’t hit all the notes!

0

Srdjan, Serbia & Montenegro (Srbija I Crna Gora)

Nice J

6

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Something different from the typical tunes we are used in ESC. Wellcome Belarus

6

Nico, Belgium

this is a strange song but very different also. Very good after heard it three time. Good luck for your first participation!

9

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

I hope Byelorussian entry will not be very boring as their performans on the national final... song's very good

8

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Wow what a marvelous song, i cant get it out of my ears. If it pass the semi it will be top 10 for sure

10

Luis Braga, Portugal

"Round I go" every time I listen to the Belarus entry! My favourite!!!!! What a song!!!! Kind of pop, kind of ethnic, kind of traditional, kind of modern! Great voice, great rhythm. Wow!

10

Max Surkont, Belarus

My home-country's song, but I want to say that it was in my top-5 of belarussian preselection even with such a poor performance. After preview clip I became to love it even more!

10

Mark, UK

This is very different and if they perform it well, could do very well too.

7

Matthew, Poland

Nice song!! Good job Belarus!!!

8

Paul, Germany

My early fav. - still a very interesting country\up tempo mix. Alexandra s voice might sound a bit strange but not bad. Could do both : very well or very bad.

8

Margaret, Lithuania

I never heard so bad song. Sorry! first to semi next year.

1 LIFE - XANDEE

Your Opinions

SECHUK

This has to be a contender to win Eurovision 2004. The song just does not let up and you can’t help but get swept up in it. Could go close and deservedly so.

0

Ido, Israel

10 out of 10

10

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

I can not stand it. But I have to be honest, this is a potential winner, the only one so far.

1

Nico, Belgium

this is a techno song, good for eurovision but I think that Belgium hasn't the good choice. I would like elsie morais and her reggae's song. It was funny but this is xandee and her friend sergio(eurovision 2002) who is the winner. Shame - So,it's a good song!

7

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

Such simple bit is very lovely for eurofans. I think, Xandee will be the second Beth

4

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A very very good song from Belgium and thats for the flemish part. She must be in the top 10 at least

10

Luis Braga, Portugal

I still can't understand what people find in this song that makes it the fave in almost every chart on the net. For me it is just another dance-tecno song. For me, Belgium has in this song one of the worst since 1991.

2

Max Surkont, Belarus

It deserve to be in top-5 of the contest, like it is in pre-charts.

10

Mark, UK

Has to be top 3!

10

Matthew, Poland

Nice song!!

7

Danny, Wales

If this is not top 3, then Eurovsion has failed us!

9

Paul, Germany

Well, there are many " official favs. " this year : Ireland, Germany, Sweden ( of course :-( )...but unlike these countries, Belgium is the only bookmaker fav. that would be a " deserved winner " . This is simply modern chard stuff. Fresh and original...something I wanna see at future ESCs.. not that one dimensional, old fashioned stuff. Goooo Xandee ;-)

IN THE DISCO - DEEN

Your Opinions

Esned Nezic, OGAE Bosnia and Herzegovina

DEEN is a great singer and I know that he’ll have an excellent end-placing in Istanbul.

10

SECHUK

Homage to the 70’s US Disco sound. Good beat and a solid sound from Bosnia. Hope it does well for them.

0

Nico, Belgium

it's very bad for me. Why a good singer sing a bad song? why?

1

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

Hm... Bosnia i Czarnogoria, as it named in Russia... Good song, and i'll be glad to see it in the top 5

9

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Nice song from Bosnia. He has a strong voice and an average song. It will be difficult to reach the final

4

Hasse Bossner, USA

10 out of 10!

10

Max Surkont, Belarus

Average Disco song... Not very beautiful, but it can do well in Istanbul.

6

Mark, UK

A little camp, but a good beat if a bit of a rip-off from Donna Summer.

8

Matthew, Poland

Super piosenka!! Bosnia i Hercegowina music by finale!!

10

Paul, Germany

Seventies disco from the Balkans ? Hmm, not really new but interesting. Could do very well with one of Deens famous performances ;-).

DAJEŠ MI KRILA – IVAN MIKULIC

Your Opinions

Esned Nezic, Bosnia and Herzegovina / Austria

Ivan Mikulic has a great voice. But I think that the song doesn’t fit to the ESC. My favourite were Ivana Kindl and Andrea. I’m not sure if Ivan will pass the semi-final, but nevertheless all the best, our dear neighbours!

3

SECHUK

Smooth with a capital S. Lovely melody, which could only come from the Adriatic coast.  But let’s hope they don’t bring the lady in the bag again….

0

Nico, Belgium

Not for me - it was "noah", the song winner. I never don't heard that it's another song who represent Croatia.Good luck Croatia!

4

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

6

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A wonderful beauty melody. A nice singer it could have good chances to reach the final.

8

Max Surkont, Belarus

Boring average song. English version is TERRIBLE!

3

Mark, UK

This is a beautiful song which could only come from the Adriatic. Better sung in Croatian though, it doesn’t suit the English language.

9

Tuuli, Estonia

well ... maybe .... NOT !
