TII (ROAD) - NEIOKÕSÕ

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Something different from Estonia this year. Maybe hoping to follow on from the success of ‘Sanomi’ last year, but could this one just miss the boat?

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Too folk for my taste. The presentation is not that bad. I respect every country that prefers singing in native language and not in English. Congratulations Eesti and may the televoters like your song!

2

Nico, Belgium

Like sanomi but a very funny choregraphy! Good luck but attention to your voices,it's not very just!

6

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

Crossing fingers for Eesti singers =) Maybe, it's a copy of Urban Trad, but SUCH a GOOD copy!

10

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I just find it average and thats all.

5

Max Surkont, Belarus

Original and fresh sing from Estonia. I like it :-)

9

Wee Wee, UK

10 out of 10

10

Mark, UK

Not sure about this but it will get some good scores from the east.

5

Marie, UK

It’s a very good song indeed! I really like this ;)! Good Luck!

10

David Bridgman, UK

I will be surprised (even shocked) if this qualifies for the final. Estonia have really lost the plot

2

Matthew, Poland

I like Estonia, but they have not did have not try in this year! Song is copied completely I say about - "Sanomi, Urban Trad"!

4

Keio, UK

Good Song!

10

Paul, Germany

Estonia s very underrated this year...which isn t a big surprise because " Neiokösö " are mainly a visual act. But the song works with a great performance because " Tii " is very catchy. I guess it will qualify and do ( very ? ) well at the final - even if Estonia tries to copy Urban Trads success. This might be the biggest surprise of the evening !

TAKES 2 TO TANGO - JARI SILLANPÄÄ

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Is it 2 dated? Is it 2 catchy? Is it 2 clever? Is it 2 good? Well, this is another latino sound with a kick and very slick backing. Could spring a surprise or 2.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Dynamic but oldfashioned. The singer is o.k, honesty I do not find him capable of rescuing Finland (4 out of 10)

4

Nico, Belgium

Oh,Tango, I like it! Very good for the version audio but the live it's very different. Wish we heard the audio's version to the great night! (8 out of 10)

8

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

Brrr…

0

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

The dark horse of 2004. He will be top or bottom. Very good show. (6 out of 10)

6

Max Surkont, Belarus

It can win (if to look at winners of 2001 and 2002). Strange song, but it has a great back-vocal. (7 out of 10)

7

Mark, UK

Great song and hope Finland get their best score ever!

9

Matthew, Poland

bleee, horrible!!!!!!

0

Paul, Germany

Another " all or nothing " song - this time from Finland. Unlike Denmarks Latin cover, it s still something " own ". Maybe because of the strange musical parts in it ? It tries to tell a story....even if it s a cheesy one about " angels & demons dancing tango " ;-). A good performance might also help to make this a real dark horse. Very hard to predict ..but interesting and catchy

A CHAQUE PAS (WITH EACH STEP)- JONATAN CERRADA

Your Opinions

SECHUK

The extract we have heard so far sounds like solid French ballad fare. Nice to see a male singer and should score well.

0

Nico, Belgium

it's not a big ballad,France is very bad for her choice since two years! (5 out of 10)

5

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I prefer his first song. This is average. (5 out of 10)

5

Max Surkont, Belarus

"Intelligent" song. It reminds me about French songs from 80s. (7 out of 10)

7

Mark, UK

It would be nice to hear something different from France. As Simon Cowell would say.. SAFE!

6

Matthew, Poland

Nice ballad!!

8

Alessandro Banit, Italy

Encore une belle ballade française

9

Paul, Germany

La France.. a ballad year after year. This year sung by a Belgian with Spanish roots. That makes the singer more interesting than the song ;-). I am not sure if Jonatan is experienced enough to win ( a ESC is NOT a casting show ! ) but there are worser songs. Please France, try something different next year !

I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL TONIGHT - MAX

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Well, well – could this be the Waterloo of 2004? So totally different to anything else, so laid-back, so refreshing. This could walk the whole Contest.

0

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I am from Germany and he won which 92% of the votes in the final round. He song is to difficult for first listening.

6

Max Surkont, Belarus

Boring... But I like that it is not Scooter.

7

Mark, UK

This could easily win. A modern sound and so cool!

9

Tuuli, Estonia

lack of fantasy in lyrics, but nice try. could pick the trophy

7

Matthew, Poland

I love this song!!! WONDERFOOL!!! I'll vote for Germany!!!

10

Natalia, Poland

Very good song. Glad to see non kitchy song from Germany as usual.

0

Paul, Germany

Well, " overrated " is all that I can say about it. Not very original because there are a lot ballads this year. Only the strange look of the singer might stay in the televoters memory. Don t deserve victory !

SHAKE IT - SAKIS ROUVAS

Your Opinions

SECHUK

More latin rhythms and not a bad song. Will need an impressive performance for it to stand out though.

0

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I dont like it. It have nothing special. (3 out of 10)

3

Max Surkont, Belarus

Great dance tune. Sounds a bit stupid, like Albanian song does. But is has something others don't have. It's really GREAT!!! (10 out of 10)

10

Mark, UK

Very nice, in many ways. Maybe top 10, maybe not, it depends on the performance with this one.

8

David Bridgman, UK

Far too much hype surrounds this dull offering. It is not so different from Cyprus 2003 and only an amazing performance on the night will save Greece

0

Paul, Germany

Well, one of the best looking male singers 2004 sings a simple up tempo song and guarantees a cheesy performance..looks like a winning formular ;-).

HEAVEN - JÓN JÓSEP SNJÆBJÖRNSSON

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Not the anticipated upbeat song and this takes a couple of listens to atune with it. Can it stand out though?

0

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

An average song from a good looking man.

5

Max Surkont, Belarus

Beautiful ballad from a country of vulcanos. So, it's a good song, but not for Iceland.

8

Mark, UK

After a few listens this is actually quite a stunning song – with a good strong performance maybe he can be top 10 again

7

Matthew, Poland

Nice song!!!First figure fifteen!!

7

Alessandro Banti, Italy

Wonderful ballad!!!

10

Paul, Germany

Well, I am not really a ballad fan but the Icelandic ballad isn t bad. Hope Jonsi performes well - I am not so sure about it. Sounds much like Norway 03, maybe the " formular " also works this year.`

IF MY WORLD STOPPED TURNING – CHRIS DORAN

Your Opinions

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

I have listened to the two possible entries. It is not difficult to predict an Irish disaster, bbbbbut Eire has been so lucky many times....Definitely not a top 10.

2

SECHUK

An Irish ballad, but little irish oomph. A suprising choice after last year’s dalliance with something a little different. Disappointing.

0

Nico, Belgium

ohhhh, this is Ireland, but this is the big zero of this years

0

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

I hope world will not stop turning when Chris will sing this.... hmmmm..... "song"....

2

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A song from the 90’s. Just average and thats not enough to reach the top 10

5

Max Surkont, Belarus

Beutifull too. It's has not any chance in Istanbul and we all know WHY.

8

Mark, UK

Sorry Ireland, but this song goes nowhere!

2

Matthew, Poland

Ballad beguile very beautiful! It beguile weakness for irish ballads always - 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2004!!

7

Paul, Germany

Disappointing...a man with a guitar singing a ballad. Last year it was very much of a " Olsen copy " this year it s a " Westlife " ballad. Sorry, but this isn t very original and not catchy. A depressing song...does Europe wanna see a song like that winning the ESC ? I don t think so ...

LE’HA’MIN (BELIEVE) – DAVID D’OR

Your Opinions

SECHUK

In fairness the version available to date is not of good sound quality. A haunting song with potential, but David’s voice could be too much for the international audience.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

What a Fantastic voice! What a dull song! Typically Euro-catchy, isn't it? I think most Eurofans tend to vote for that kind of melodies so ... Israel you are in the Final.

1

Nico, Belgium

what is that? that voice? it's strange but it would be the big surprise of the night

6

Maxim X. (Shoddy), Russia

Dislike this song... Sorry!

3

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I just love this song

10

Max Surkont, Belarus

It sounds very optimistic. Beautiful song in opera-style.

9

Mark, UK

Not one of the best but an interesting sound.
