Another northern country choosing a southern feel. Along
similar lines to the Danish entry this year, but this does have a little more
kick, thus far. |

Annoying terrible voices, repetitive
silly tune, bad performers, a melody for cartoons not for ESC. I am very
dissapointed with the Lithuanian entry. |

this is a song with the
spanish's tempo,This is the winner of the 2004 eurovision song contest! |

Another latin sound. Nice but
not too special. |

Nice song!! Lithuania must
get in final!!! GO LITHUANIA!!! |
7 |

Paul, Germany |
Don t know why the song`s so
low at the polls. Typical Eurovision song...a nice Latin + M. Carey mix.
Could be a surprise. The best of the three Baltic songs ! |

Full marks for sticking with a traditional sound and a
good sound it is too. But will it stand out for the European voters? |

A Balkan melody, an
interesting voice, Should Televoters vote for it I would be gladly surprised.
Quite good for my taste. |

it's a joke for me |

I like it mazdonian language, i think that is no good advice
to sing it in English |

Very nice song from one of the strongest Macedonian
male-singers. It's nice preview too :-) English version is not as strong as
Macedonian is. |

Nice try but a little too subtle
for Eurovision ears. |

Matthew, Poland |
ok! |

Tose is a good performer, the
song was very interesting but the English translation wasn t a good idea. But
it s still one of the better acts this year. Should be able to qualify for
the final if everything works well. |

What is becoming trademark saccharine appeal from Malta,
but this song ducks and dives at the same time. Maybe a sugar cube too far? |

Time for Jounior ESC! If only
children were allowed to vote this could be a clear winner. An amusing break
between the serious entries |

very bad choregraphy and song
too but after heard the rest of the songs of this years, it's very good! |

Very very hard to predict song. Top or bottom. A
possible winner of the semi |

One of the worst 2004 entries this year. Too stupid, too
old-fashioned, too nasty!!!! |

Twee to the nth degree! |

Adam, Poland |
This new version is annoying.
First version was nice- it was a kind of fairy tale about 2 people. New is
something strange mixed by Ralph Siegel. Semi-final: Nothing more. |

Matthew, Poland |
New version of song is much
better from old! |

A real dark horse. Didn t
like it first but its a real " grower " Could do extremely well
with a cute performance. |

I expect a beautiful ballad and than an upetmpo song.
Not good enough. |

Max Surkont, Belarus |
A bit boring, a bit worse then Monaco's songs were in
70s. |
8 |

A disappointment – could have been in ESC 20 years ago,
but captures the sentiment of an early 90’s Contest. |

For me this is the dark horse of 2004. The odds of 50-1
seem quite ludicrous. |

Very good chances! |

it's boring for me like
netherlands, austria,...male ballad duo or trio it's very bad this year! but
Norway it's no duo or trio but it's boring for me !!!! |

Beautiful ballad. Great song from Norway, what we saw
last in 1996 (my second all time favorite, the favorite is also Norwegian
song) And the wors of all was Norway-1997 :-) So, it is good Norwegian song.

ballad. |

my favorites! |

Paul, Germany |
Sorry, but this is simply
boring, old fashioned stuff ! It s weaker than the French and Icelandic
ballads so I don t see why people should vote for this. There are simply too
much ballads by male singers this year. Unfortunately, this is one of the
less memorable ones. Pleas try something new next year, Norway ! |

This is something unusual for
Eurovision ;) Poland who is one of the few ESC nations to experiment with a
different style every year send us a pleasent jazz come latino mid-tempo
ballad with elements of Africa and a Macy Gray style singer singing us a
simple song about love. Catchy and memorable and with the potential to win.
Don't write this off because this will go down big in Istanbul. Well done
Poland and Blue Café. |

Viel Glück für Portugal Rough Translation: Hi everyone – I’ve seen that there’s
a lot about Sofia and her song ‘Foi Magia’. I find the song from Portugal
especially good. Its something different from Portugal. Until now, thet have
always used similar music styles, sometimes boring, but this song is very
very good! You just have to hear it! I am convinced you will like it. I hope Portugal receives
plenty of votes for this song. So far this is the only song I like. Good Luck
Portugal! |

I just love it- today i have
played these song in the stereo quality on my DVD and..... it sounded great.
Unfortunately not all of ESC fans have stereo Tv's but performance will help
it a lot! |

Paul, Germany |
Finally no ballad from
Portugal - great ! Sofia is a very good performer and has charisma but the
song isn t really strong ( see also Sweden ). Qualification won t be easy, as
it s one of the few non translated song. But it could also help to make the
song more interesting and memorable. " Magic, oh it was magic " is
just as " simple " as " hurts, yes it hurts " ;-) So I
prefer " Foi Magia " ....well done Portugal ! |

It’s taken a couple of listens, but this is really quite
