WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR LOVE – LINUS & SIMONA

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Another northern country choosing a southern feel. Along similar lines to the Danish entry this year, but this does have a little more kick, thus far.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Annoying terrible voices, repetitive silly tune, bad performers, a melody for cartoons not for ESC. I am very dissapointed with the Lithuanian entry.

1

Nico, Belgium

this is a song with the spanish's tempo,This is the winner of the 2004 eurovision song contest!

10

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A simply good song

8

Max Surkont, Belarus

Too strange for ESC.

6

Mark, UK

Another latin sound. Nice but not too special.

6

Matthew, Poland

Nice song!! Lithuania must get in final!!! GO LITHUANIA!!!

7

Paul, Germany

Don t know why the song`s so low at the polls. Typical Eurovision song...a nice Latin + M. Carey mix. Could be a surprise. The best of the three Baltic songs !

SECHUK

Full marks for sticking with a traditional sound and a good sound it is too. But will it stand out for the European voters?

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

A Balkan melody, an interesting voice, Should Televoters vote for it I would be gladly surprised. Quite good for my taste.

6

Nico, Belgium

it's a joke for me

0

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I like it mazdonian language, i think that is no good advice to sing it in English

7

Max Surkont, Belarus

Very nice song from one of the strongest Macedonian male-singers. It's nice preview too :-) English version is not as strong as Macedonian is.

10

Mark, UK

Nice try but a little too subtle for Eurovision ears.

5

Matthew, Poland

ok!

7

Paul, Germany

Tose is a good performer, the song was very interesting but the English translation wasn t a good idea. But it s still one of the better acts this year. Should be able to qualify for the final if everything works well.

ON AGAIN… OFF AGAIN – JULIE & LUDWIG

Your Opinions

SECHUK

What is becoming trademark saccharine appeal from Malta, but this song ducks and dives at the same time. Maybe a sugar cube too far?

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Time for Jounior ESC! If only children were allowed to vote this could be a clear winner. An amusing break between the serious entries

0

Nico, Belgium

very bad choregraphy and song too but after heard the rest of the songs of this years, it's very good!

6

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Very very hard to predict song. Top or bottom. A possible winner of the semi

7

Max Surkont, Belarus

One of the worst 2004 entries this year. Too stupid, too old-fashioned, too nasty!!!!

1

Mark, UK

Twee to the nth degree!

3

Adam, Poland

This new version is annoying. First version was nice- it was a kind of fairy tale about 2 people. New is something strange mixed by Ralph Siegel. Semi-final: Nothing more.

2

Matthew, Poland

New version of song is much better from old!

7

Paul, Germany

A real dark horse. Didn t like it first but its a real " grower " Could do extremely well with a cute performance.

6

Arthur van Beek, Netherlands

Cute, fairy-tale like song. Really sticky, imo the dark horse.

NOTRE PLANÈTE (OUR PLANET) - MARYON

Your Opinions

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I expect a beautiful ballad and than an upetmpo song. Not good enough.

4

Max Surkont, Belarus

A bit boring, a bit worse then Monaco's songs were in 70s.

8

Mark, UK

A disappointment – could have been in ESC 20 years ago, but captures the sentiment of an early 90’s Contest.

5

David Bridgman, UK

For me this is the dark horse of 2004. The odds of 50-1 seem quite ludicrous.

8

Matthew, Poland

I thought, that something will be better!

2

Paul, Germany

Sweet girl - not a spectacular song but finally something up tempo in French. Very hard to predict...depends on the performance. I like it ...

WITHOUT YOU – RE-UNION

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Strong melody and a great chance to make the final, as long as those notes can be held!

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Oooohhh without you in the Final Netherlands. A mediocre one.

4

Nico, Belgium

it's boring for me

3

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A good song from the NL

7

Max Surkont, Belarus

Not for me…

2

Mark, UK

Great song and well performed. Go Nederland!

HIGH – KNUT ANDERS SØRUM

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Well, this is the year of the Male voice. And here we have one of the strongest. The song is powerful, if a little predictable. Very good chances!

0

Nico, Belgium

it's boring for me like netherlands, austria,...male ballad duo or trio it's very bad this year! but Norway it's no duo or trio but it's boring for me !!!!

1

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

For me an average song. To dramatic.

5

Max Surkont, Belarus

Beautiful ballad. Great song from Norway, what we saw last in 1996 (my second all time favorite, the favorite is also Norwegian song) And the wors of all was Norway-1997 :-) So, it is good Norwegian song.

8

Mark, UK

One of the potential winners for sure. Great powerful ballad.

9

Matthew, Poland

I like song it! It belongs to my favorites!

9

Paul, Germany

Sorry, but this is simply boring, old fashioned stuff ! It s weaker than the French and Icelandic ballads so I don t see why people should vote for this. There are simply too much ballads by male singers this year. Unfortunately, this is one of the less memorable ones. Pleas try something new next year, Norway !

LOVE SONG – BLUE CAFÉ

Your Opinions

Neil Norton, UK

This is something unusual for Eurovision ;) Poland who is one of the few ESC nations to experiment with a different style every year send us a pleasent jazz come latino mid-tempo ballad with elements of Africa and a Macy Gray style singer singing us a simple song about love. Catchy and memorable and with the potential to win. Don't write this off because this will go down big in Istanbul. Well done Poland and Blue Café.

10

SECHUK

Of the moment, polished and classy. Very good song from Poland and deserves to do well. Could be a contender for the big prize.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

A smart choice for Poland. Repetitive but catchy and with a unique style. Either top 7 or bottom 7. Totally unpredictable.

7

Nico, Belgium

this is the spanish song but it's represent Poland!!! Very strange voice of singer but it's good! it's gonna be into the top five

9

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

For me the winner of 2004

10

Keri, Portugal

"Love song" it will be winning song all over the Europe

10

Max Surkont, Belarus

STUPID! Not my favorite from strong Polish final.

5

Mark, UK

Another of the better songs this year. Top 5 for sure.

9

Mateusz, Poland

I think the song is GREAT!!!

10

Ankkje, Sweden

I hate this song, though arrangement is great, 1 point for arrangements. But People won't but this. See Poland in 1/2 finals next year...

3

Matthew, Poland

OHHHHHHHH!!!!!! MY COUNTRY!!!!!!! I LOVE OUR SONG!!! SHE IS VERY EXCEPTIONAL AND ORIGINAL! !!

10

Keraj, Poland

Super!

10

Anne, USA

Hi!! I think this song will be winner EUROVISION SONG CONTEST - STAMBUL 2004!!! GOOD LUCK POLAND!! GOOD LUCK BLUE CAFE!!

10

Jordi, Monaco

Anne... you have right!!! This song is very nice!!

10

Paul, Germany

" Sweet song " - strange song..." love song " - winning song ? Very hard to predict, but could be a surprise because the televoters will remember it ;-)

FOI MAGIA - SOFIA

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Rumours of a Kylie makeover for this song would help its chances. Initial versions sound cluttered and messy, although Sofia is obviously a powerful singer.

0

Anonymous

different than other P songs

9

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

I like Sofia, the song is unbearable. I do not think Portugal will pass the Semi-test

1

David Bridgman, UK

In its current state this is one of the worst Eurovision entries for many years. Let's hope for a makeover!

0

Nico, Belgium

is the singer can sing??? I don't know! Is this song is a song? I don't know! But it's the most bad choice of Portugal since 5 years

2

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Everybody dislike this song. I love it.

10

Max Surkont, Belarus

Very strong voice, very weak song either.

5

Mark, UK

Something different from Portugal if they can make it sound more clear.

5

CC, Germany

Rough Translation:

Hi everyone – I’ve seen that there’s a lot about Sofia and her song ‘Foi Magia’. I find the song from Portugal especially good. Its something different from Portugal. Until now, thet have always used similar music styles, sometimes boring, but this song is very very good! You just have to hear it! I am convinced you will like it.

I hope Portugal receives plenty of votes for this song. So far this is the only song I like. Good Luck Portugal!

10

Adam, Poland

I just love it- today i have played these song in the stereo quality on my DVD and..... it sounded great. Unfortunately not all of ESC fans have stereo Tv's but performance will help it a lot!

10

Paul, Germany

Finally no ballad from Portugal - great ! Sofia is a very good performer and has charisma but the song isn t really strong ( see also Sweden ). Qualification won t be easy, as it s one of the few non translated song. But it could also help to make the song more interesting and memorable. " Magic, oh it was magic " is just as " simple " as " hurts, yes it hurts " ;-) So I prefer " Foi Magia " ....well done Portugal !

I ADMIT – SANDA LADOSI

Your Opinions

SECHUK

It’s taken a couple of listens, but this is really quite good. A little clarity needed on some of the pronounciation, but if their entry last year could finish in the top 10, there is no reason this could not do the same thing.

0

Nico, Belgium

good and not good! (4 out of 10)

4

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

Another very very strong entry. Perhaps Bukarest 2004! (10 out of 10)

10

Max Surkont, Belarus

Average pop-song, but it's anything ethnic in it. It becomes very Balcan. (8 out of 10)

8

Mark, UK

Sounds like a weak Madonna song but it is actually well produced.

8

Matthew, Poland

Nice song!!! But this singer is very strange!

7

Paul, Germany

Not bad....even better than last years Romanian song. Misses something win, but has everything to make it the most successful Romanian ESC song !
