BELIEVE ME - JULIA SAVICHEVA

Your Opinions

Max Surkont, Belarus

On of the best Russian songs ever. Much better ten Russia was in 2002 and 2003. But like Tatu, Julia can sing better.

10

SECHUK

Good solid pop with a good solid chance to win. Good voice, good rhythm, good beat. Great chance!

0

Mark, UK

Fantastic pop song – just hope she can perform it well. Good Luck Russia!

9

Matthew, Poland

GREAT!!! but do Russians like Poland?!!

9

Paul, Germany

One of the best songs this year. Very good POP with some " Scandinavian flavour "....could go to the top !

LAN MOJE - ŽELJKO JOKSIMOVIC

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Hints of the mystic east make this a pleasant listen and its good to see Serbia & Montenegro in Eurovision.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

My best till now. Excellent presentation, superb voice, authentic melody in native language I hope that it's time for a Balkan winner at last. (10 Out of 10)

10

Nico, Belgium

If this song is not the winner of the 2004 eurovision song contest, I think that the contest lost all credibility! beautiful song, very strong ballad! good luck (10 out of 10)

10

Sergio, Serbia & Montenegro

Amazing! (10 out of 10)

10

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A cant stand the hype made of it. It a good song but not a winner of 2004! (7 out of 10)

7

Max Surkont, Belarus

The best song in 2004! Great singer, great live perfomance in NF, wonderful ethnic ballad. I LOVE it! (10 out of 10)

10

Goran Beljic, Croatia

Just to remind you all: this ethno melody is not from the Balkans!!! It is Turkish ethno. I see it as a copy of Sertab, Negativ or even Karleusa were thousand times better! (2 out of 10)

2

Mark, UK

Nice enough but I am bemused by the high scores for this song.

4

David Bridgman, UK

Fantastic, moody entry. This should qualify for the big night quite easily - I hope!

10

Matthew, Poland

Nice! Serbia&Montenegro will be in final!!

8

Paul, Germany

A great " debut " for Serbia - a big ethno ballad. Something unique that might stay in the memory of the televoters. Plus Zeljko is one of the most experienced singers this year ! Douze points !

Maria, Spain

STAY FOREVER - PLATIN

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Not the kind of song we have come to expect from Slovenia. Quite subtle, very polished but maybe a little predictable to stand out.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Not very bad, just another bad song in a bad ESC. Sorry Slovenia but that kind of songs Stay forever in the Semi-final (3 Out of 10)

3

Nico, Belgium

good song but not VERY good (6 out of 10)

6

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I like this song very much. But the song has no chance to pass the semifinal. (9 out of 10)

9

Max Surkont, Belarus

Nice, interesting, beautiful. But too ordinary! (8 out of 10)

8

Mark, UK

Love this song. Its simple and catchy, but somehow special.

9

Matthew, Poland

Boring song for me

3

Paul, Germany

Not relly good, not really bad - simply forgettable. There were much better songs at the Slovenian final ( like " Cry on my shoulder " ) but the " expert jury " chose the weakest song of all. I doubt qualifing - sorry, Slovenia

PARA LLENARME DE TI  (To Be Filled With You) - RAMÓN

Your Opinions

SECHUK

A star in the making? The nation of latin rhythms uses them so much better than those who borrow the sounds. Excellent song and very well performed.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

A gorgeous performer, not perfect singer but what an outstanding performance. Definitely in top 5. The song is fairly good.

8

Nico, Belgium

For me it's davinia who represent spain with "Mi Obsession". But it's Ramon but it's not the winner this year!

7

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

One my favourites. Just lovely and Ramon sings well.

9

Max Surkont, Belarus

May be it's strange, but I hate latino probuced in SPAIN.

3

Mark, UK

Got the looks, got the rhythm, got the song. Viva Espana!

9

Matthew, Poland

Horrible

2

Paul, Germany

The " typical Latin sound " from Spain this year. Of course, it s much better than some nordic Latin wannabe s ;-) but also not very original. I don t really like it and I also doubt that Ramon is such a good singer...might do worser than the last two " OT songs " but there are many " Latin fans " to make sure that this won t do too badly.

DET GÖR ONT (It Hurts) – LENA PHILIPSSON

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Great to see Lena make it to ESC after all these years. A typically Swedish ESC song with an infectious beat and obvious chances.

0

Andreas Elmerholt, Sweden

Such a great song!Listen to it! Go Lena!!!

10

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

A good song from Sweden

8

Max Surkont, Belarus

It reminds me about NEVER LET IT GO. I like the too (there are so many songs I gave ..

8

Mark, UK

A familiar face from old – but good luck to Sweden. Max, it reminds me of NEVER LET IT GO too!

8

Matthew, Poland

Great!! Sweden don't like Poland! They are stylized on always ABBA!

8

David Hutchison, UK

The sexiest woman on the planet and the best voice on the planet. It has to be a Swedish victory and we are all going to The Globe in 2005 for the 50th.

10

Paul, Gaermany

Well, we have a problem here...one of the most hyped songs ! I wonder how comments would looked like if the ( also hyped ) " E-type " won ? Good starting position and experienced singer & performer but a weak song. Top ten as always but NO WINNER !

Must Win!!

CELEBRATE – PIERO ESTERIORE & THE MUSICSTARS

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Well, is this isn’t the best entry from Switzerland since, er, since… Sandra Simo! Has a feel of Estonia’s winner from 2001 and let’s hope Piero has something to celebrate in May.

0

Nico, Belgium

it's very the shame for switzerland, after celine dion, that, very bad!!!!

0

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

The only song that i dont like this year. But the song has good chances to reach the final

2

Max Surkont, Belarus

Funny and happy song from a country of serious and beautiful music.

6

Mark, UK

Loving this one. A bit repetitive, but best song from CH for years!

8

Adam, Poland

I know that many people hate bthis song but i like it very much. In my opinion this 'clapping'will make the public have fun! For me the final for sure

9

Alessandro Banti, Italy

Swiss have the worst song this year too. Congratulations!

1

Paul, Germany

No, no - this IS the worst song this year. It tries very hard to copy Estonias " Everybody " in a VERY bad way. Even if I fear that it might do better than expected, I don t know a single thing to " Celebrate " about it ...I would give it a  -12 points if that were possible !

FOR REAL - ATHENA

Your Opinions

SECHUK

Reminiscent of “The Specials”, the eastern sound works well with this SKA-style track. Good to see the home team try something different.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

All Turkish entries were really bad this year. This is the less annoying. Anyway it is noisy and the presentation is terribly. I am going to turn off the TV during this one. (1 Out of 10)

1

Zaferhan Yumru, UK

A super song from the home country. It has a great sound and energy. 12 points... (10 out of 10)

10

Nico, Belgium

This is a rock song, very good, very special, and very different to all the rest of the participant, so the winner? (9 out of 10)

9

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

I just hate this song

0

Max Surkont, Belarus

It's my second homeland :-) Welcome to ISTANBUL 2005!!! Sounds amazing! (10 out of 10)

10

Mark, UK

Yes, this is quite different for Turkey, but I don’t think it can make it 2 in a row.

5

Natalia, Poland

The best song so far! It's gonna be in first 5.
The only minus is 'too much ska' in it.

10

Matthew, Poland

bleeee

1

Paul, Germany

Not what you expect from a ESC song. It s hard to predict if the European telvoters are ready for this ska\pop mix. The ska elements and the " wild looks " of the singers might scare off some voters but I think this years host country will do better than poor Latvia did last year ;-)

WILD DANCES - RUSLANA

Your Opinions

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

I do not know if whether i Have listened the right entry or not. If “Diki Tantsi” is the right one I find it strange but good. If the performer is talented the song will score high.

(7 Out of 10)

7

Max Surkont, Belarus

I didn’t expect that Ukraine would have such a srong song. It is in my top-5. In fact, HASTA LA VISTA is in my Bottom top3 ESC-ever. (10 out of 10)

10

SECHUK

Wow! Powerful stuff. If the images carry to the stage, this could be an amazing visual too. That, or very messy. It’s a great attempt!

0

Mark, UK

Quite a change from last year and good to see they are using Ukrainian in the song too. Great belting musical experience!

9

David Bridgman, UK

Looking forward to seeing the stage performance. Could Ruslana be the Sertab of 2004?

9

Natalia, Poland

For me: 1.Turkey, 2.Ukraine, 3.Sweden, 4.Romania, 5.Izrael
Ukraine may be the winner of eurovision 2004!

10

Paul, Germany

Great, amazing - a good job by the Ukraine this year. Catchy song plus great performance will always make a ESC success...maybe even victory !

HOLD ON TO OUR LOVE – JAMES FOX

Your Opinions

SECHUK

A confident and assured performer who CAN SING! This is a difficult song to judge for Eurovision but it should be up there on the night. It deserves to be.

0

Thanos Iliopoulos, Greece

Last and among my least favourites is the British song. I listened to it so many times and it seems to be impossible for my to find something memorable in it. Definitely not a "null points", as he can sing very well but among the last 8 in the Final

0

Nico, Belgium

Why send a pop idol's representant? It's very silly, it was not him to represent uk but his song is not very good too,so...united kingdom...only 4 points

4

Holger Fehrmann, Germany

O pts for UK will be history this song reach at least 100P - It s a strong contender to rumania and poland and spain.

9

Max Surkont, Belarus

Borin song, reminds me about Roby Williams.

6

Mark, UK

It’s a good song and he’s a great singer, but hard to say how it will compare to the other songs. Fingers crossed!

9

Matthew, Poland

Boring!! Place 15 - 20!!

2

Ron Wagtrey, UK

This has to be top 3 on the night. James is a superb singer and it’s a great song too.

10

Paul, Germany

Sorry, but I expected much more from the UK as one of Europes most important music markets. Unlike Gemini last year, James might be able to sing live but what about the song ? Is this really chard stuff of the UK ( Europe ) 2004 ? I don t think so. So this years UK entry will do better than last year, maybe even come close to the top ten but that s it.

4

Melinda, UK

It would be foolish to underestimate the UK entry.  James Fox is a fantastic performer and the song is brilliant live.  Fox Rocks!

10

Sari Ash, UK

Fab song, fab singer

10

Sue Cavill, Wales (UK)

At first I wasn't too keen on this song but after hearing ti a few times it grew on me-NOW I can;t stop singing it and I love it! James Fox is gorgeous too! LOVELY eyes!!
