I am so conflicted. I loved the song Mas but I loved Ruth as an
artist. I wish she was singing Mas as opposed to this. I just don't
see the appeal in this one... it's a Disney princess song that
sounds powerful, but it just isn't something appealing to listen to.
I love Ruth, but I wish she had a different song.

I like this a lot, Ruth is good and the song is really
interesting. But I am not sure how good this will do in
Copenhagen
, maybe around place 15.

Well
Spain
tries again with a ballad. The singer has great voice the song is
powerful.Still I think it will not help
Spain
to win.I think it will do better than last year but I don't see
this as winner.

They had gold in their hands with
"Más" (Run) and they let it slip through their fingers.
Instead they send the public's favourite 'Dancing in the rain' after
a tie in the voting. This is far from bad but it gets a bit
repetitive and there is no mistaking the title. She injects the
necessary passion but in doing so it gets a bit shouty in
parts. Will this be enough to propel them into the Top 10? She
looks gorgeous though it has to be said.

A song that even in the 90s will sound like immitating other
ESC
songs (for
example
Norway
1996). Im afraid that the high hopes from Spanish people will
not have any positive result .... not even with a miracle this can
be a top 10.

I
personally think the Brequette song was slightly better, however I
cannot complain Ruth will represent
Spain
.
Finally TVE is taking seriously Eurovision, with two very strong
songs fighting until the end.

I have always liked Ruth Lorenzo, but the song is weak, I’m
afraid
Spain
(my second home) made the wrong choice. Brequette could have won
the contest if they had sent her.

This entry ticks all the boxes - Ruth can sing, she performs very
well on stage (worthy of a show-stopping frock), she has exposure in
a music/TV market outside her home country and the song will surely
go down as a jury favourite. There's nothing like it selected so far
and it's great to see
Spain
with a power ballad again after performing so well with one in
2012. There is a section where her big notes turns into
borderline-screaming, so hopefully this won't turn off televoters,
but I'm won over - a great entry.

Ruth has a nice song, maybe Ruth's song is a little bit
boring, and during part of the song annoys the ear. The song should
improve with new arrangements. She has the talent, she is a great
singer, she showed singing live and experience to take on the
challenge. She has time to perfect the vocals and the whole
performance by promoting the song as much as possible.

Well, for sure Ruth is a great singer, experienced performer and
a powerful voice but was hoping for a better song. Having saying
that, I am sure Ruth will put on a great show in
Copenhagen
and
Spain
should score high, well I hope...

If you have a voice like that you could sing without a microfon,
but to scream 170 times Dancing in the rain do not give you any
points, no no no I´m sorry ( who can remember any melody ?)

Watching the Spanish Final was like
feeling the "eternal war" between modernity and tradition.
Ruth has a strong ballad and Brequette a more modern song, undoubtedly
catchy. Ruth has a very powerful voice and the song is very good,
very emotional, even if it would have been preferable entirely in
Spanish. She needs now a nice and classy performance, without
useless frills.

I post-poned to watch
Spain
after reading negative things on the song as many fans wanted
Brequette to win. But when I finally listened to the song, I like it
a lot, and actually it is a very catchy song. Actually much better
than I expected. Yes, some elements are less appealing, but I think
a nice song for
Spain
.

Ruth's got an incredibly powerful
voice, but by going for the power-belt only halfway through the
song, and keeping at that high level of intensity for so long, it
ends up losing its affect, ironically enough. When it comes to
Spanish power-ballads, I miss Pastora, but there's definitely
potential here.

Another song sticking to a well worn formula. Almost certain to
improve on
Spains
dismal showing last year but not Pastora Solar. Possible votes
for Ruth from the
UK
if she is remembered from that other show.

Ok I'm biased because I love Ruth Lorenzo, she was my favourite
in the X factor. Typical Spanish song for Eurovision which is just
great, a real builder. My winner by a mile so far.

Ruth Lorenzo is my all time favourite
X Factor contestant, so I am absolutely delighted she will be taking
the Eurovision stage for her home country. This is a lovely ballad
which Ruth sings outstandingly and could do rather well for them.
It’s sure to get some high points from the
UK
anyway!

This sounds like a bad Ukrainian entry and that’s the point.
Had it been for the
Ukraine
it would have made top 10. As it is it will be lucky not to be
bottom and that will only be due to the fact it will get 10 points
from the
UK
due to the X Factor link. Very poor and the worst song in the
Spanish NF.

This is possibly a case of the singer
being far stronger than the material she is performing. A pleasant
if predictable plodder which is likely to garner a high score from
the
UK
! There’s far too much repetition of the title and you have to
wonder that if Pastora Soler couldn’t notch up a victory with her
ballad, then Ruth Lorenzo is unlikely to top the scoreboard with
this one.

Ruth
has a fantastic voice and sells the hell out of what is a pretty
average power ballad. If there is any justice she’ll do
really well with this! Excellent stuff.

I want this to be better than it is. Bombastic, a bit screechy
and strangely emotionally unengaging – just lots of talk about
dancing in the rain. Ruth’s lovely but mid to bottom half of the
scoreboard beckons.

Ruth has the stage she deserves. A ballad, powerful and really
lovely. I like the dual language and she sells the hell out of it.
Could we be heading to
Madrid
? It's a possibility!

I am a big Ruth fan and one of the few
who is happy to see G-sson fall at the last hurdle (I don’t want
an
ESC
Contest full of his music).
This is a solid ballad and Ruth knows how to deliver a performance.
I think she deserved a better song, but I do rate this highly
nonetheless.

One of the better selected songs up to
now. However, Ruth is a bit too shouty for me and whoever
thought that the sudden 'stop' made it better needs to come 'in'
from the rain. Other songs in the final I preferred but it'll
do well I'm sure.

I
think they missed a trick by not picking Breguette, who I think may
have got them in the top 5, but I can see why. This is a beautiful
song, and because she can sing, I'm not going to hold the over
screeching towards then against her. After all we only have studio
versions of some songs to go by and this can be fixed. Great song.

I loved Ruth Lorenzo in X Factor and
she doesn't disappoint here. Shame she's not singing for the
UK
though! Love this song, almost as good as 2012, almost!

Great to see Ruth triumph in
Spain
- Simon and little Eric Cowell will be delighted! A sweet
but average ballad sees Ruth in great voice.

I was rooting for Brequette in the Spanish final, with a far
superior song, but Ruth's song is definitely a grower and her voice
is more reliable. It's just that the song takes more than one listen
to appreciate, and does border on annoying. Even so...
