Italy
never lacks in quality - almost a fact. There is a lot of
quality in both the song and the artist herself! However, this could
go either way, it'll all come down to the stage presence &
detail. I'm afraid that this might end up in the middle of the
leader-board because the performance gets lost. I don't doubt Emma's
abilities on stage, it's just the song is not exactly an attention
grabber. I do hope it all works on stage…

Quite good. And Emma is a good singer.

Well
Italy
has a chance to be around top 10-15. Not better. Why? Because
this is a very bland song. The language is special but the rest is a
mixture of noise.

Emma will perform the pop/rock
"La mia città" for
Italy
in
Copenhagen
. Since they returned to the contest in 2011 they have given us a
wide variety of styles with all of the songs reaching the top 10.
This will probably equal the results of its predecessors and Emma is
a force to be reckoned with on stage but it isn't a winner.

Now this is an original authentic amazing song. I had a great
feeling about it and I think Emma will be awesome live. Great
singer, great choice. The first favorite for the trophy for me.

As
a fan of Emma Marrone, I expected a more equlibrated song. She has
very much better songs than this. I feel so dissapointed for this
bunch of noises

Once again a classy entry from
Italy
. Strong Voice, good song, but strangely missing something and I
can't put my finger on what that is

Italy
’s entries since their 2011 return have been consistently
winning me over, however this is really not doing it for me. I don't
know if it is because the song isnt under the scrutiny of
San Remo
, but I'm
finding it hard to imagine myself or any other person in the arena
getting up and rocking to this. It's a respectable entry, but the
hook isn't winning me over. It might however take several listens to
get into, not what you really need from a song which has direct
entry into the final.

Great singer.
Emma is the perfect choice, she has all the ingredient of a winner
(voice (I love her voice), charisma, star quality) but I am not sure
if it's catchy enough to be remembered: It starts off really good,
linking the guitars, but towards the end the song becomes less
appealing imo. I think this song a good, is very radio pop/rock in
Italian. She's sure to lift it with her live performance.

A powerful and great song from
Italy
again this year. This is quality, it has a nice Italian
rock touch and I love Emma's voice. I really hope it will score high
in
Copenhagen
this year.

Well I don´t know what to say ....this isn´t a typical italian
esc-song. First I didn´t like it at all, but it isn´t so bad. But
I cannot say that I like it, she has a good performance
nevertheless. Not a winner .....

Italia goes rock. Emma is one of the most successful solo artists
in
Italy
in
the last years. She's got an incredible stage presence and she's
really talented. This song suits so well with her "power".
A great song, very good Italian lyrics, punchy sounds. Even rock
could be classy. Brava Emma !

Unlike the majority of fans I amnot
that keen on
Italy
. I am happy they have returned to Eurovision but they have not
set my music mind alight with any of their songs.
This one is not a horror, but it is
nothing special. Emma has a typical Italian female voice, and the
song is a typical rock song but it won't jump to my top 5. I wonder
about what city she is singing? It surely won't get me rushing off
to this city in a hurry.

I've been waiting to see Emma at
Eurovision since her stellar Sanremo performaces of "Arrivera"
and "Non e l'Inferno". This doesn't quite match up to that
level (lacks an unforgettable hook), but it still has the brash,
gutsy energy that I love in her other work.

Italy
do it again. Catch us out with the timing of the announcement
but no change in the quality of the song. Just what I'd expect from
Emma, winner of last year's
San Remo
. Distinctly Italian sound with an instant hook. Fabulous!

I haven't taken to this song at the moment but It may be a
grower. A bit too rocky and frantic for me and I'm not keen on
her voice although she does give a good live performance.

Italy
sends their biggest female star of the moment (take note
UK
) with this rather rocky song. She is an excellent performer and
the song is catchy enough but it doesn’t scream winner to me, more
low top 10. I preferred her 2012
San Remo
entry, but this won’t embarrass
Italy
and should continue their streak of decent results.

I can’t take to this, and I’m not sure who voting will give
it credence. It reminds me of
France
last year with some of
Bulgaria
11 thrown in and something about ‘a dance floor’.
I love
Italy
at Eurovision but fear this may not be a good year for them.

Well, you have to hand it to RAI. No
messing around - just ask the country's biggest star to represent
you! Take note
BBC
(as if). This is light years away from the froth and nonsense of
Ukraine
and
Belarus
. Grown-up music for grown-ups. It's probably going to look
amazing on stage and Emma's performance will doubtless be superb.
The song though doesn't, yet, scream 'winner' but I'd be happy to be
proved wrong in May.

When
I heard that RAI were sending my favourite current Italian artist I
was over the moon… then I heard the song and I can’t remember
when I was last SO disappointed with a Eurovision entry!
It’s a dull, urbane album track which does nothing to showcase
Emma’s trademark highly charged and emotional vocals. It’s
bland and forgettable, and I’m really sad… Never has an
opportunity been so widely missed!

A decent song, for sure, but I guess I was expecting more as I
loved her 2012
San Remo
song. Definitely improves with repeated listenings.
Probably Top 10.

Fab rocky number. Love the sound and
modern feel of the song. Hope that do a suitable performance - well
done

What a great singer! A promising
intro, but the song is a bit rocky for me. A 3 minute version could
be very punchy and raise an arena from its seats though (for those
not standing anyway!). This has something, but it hasn’t grabbed
me on the first few listens.

We all know with that voice it is
actually Bonnie trying to redeem herself. Come the chorus
I can only picture Baby Doll and her 'gorgeous' outfit! If she
were driving through her city she'd only ever get into second gear.
Good but not quite right for
ESC
. In the best Len Goodman way: SEVEN!

Great song, great performer. Best so far for me, yet I'm not so
sure it is instant enough to make an impact
ESC
.
Having said that, a 3 minute version may pack more punch and I
wouldn't underestimate Emma's charisma in selling it.

This promised more than it delivered.
I like her voice but this went nowhere. Of course it depends on the
way it's staged but after one listen I think this is the weakest of
their recent entries.

Italy
always puts forward songs of undeniable quality and for that we
should be grateful. This one may be a slow burner but for me
it's not instant or catchy enough to warrant their previous high
placings.

I love the retro feel to the song's intro, especially when the
organ comes into the background. And it's a very good song, albeit
quite easy to forget. The second half is less interesting but
hopefully, since this song is some 30 seconds too long, they will
excise the excess from the second half.
