Perfect. A unique yet contemporary song with a captivating
artist! The song alone presents itself very well on stage, it's
dynamic yet not over done! I love it already, and I'm sure after a
few more listens that I'll love it even more. Great job
UK
, I hope this one does well!

Just
average, might grow on me after some listening to it. But for the
moment, just average.

Now this song is decent. Its better than in recent years but still
UK and BBC doesn't understand that they have to send a great song
and artist to have a chance to win.It will probably land somewhere
around place 10-13th.

A very contemporary and radio friendly sound best describes the
UK
’s
entry this year. I love her voice and the vibe the song creates. The
only reservation I have is as to whether 'Children of the Universe'
is instant enough to make people vote for it. A lot will depend on
the staging in
Copenhagen
but
surely this must score more points than Engelbert and Bonnie did ...

Its
being from 1998 to hear a masterpiece from
UK
. And
its not only the amazing song its also the awesome performer that
make this entry big candidate for the trophy

Molly
will be recognised as a very good singer. Her voice remembers
to me a little on Cyndi Lauper and the lyrics are great. The only
problem that I see is that some authoritarian nations voting will
not like a lot songs saying that people is the power.

Well we will find out if this is really a song contest now. The
UK
are sending a sensational song It should win, in what looks like
the weakest eurovision in many years, but will it.

What to say... Pros - Molly's voice is great, the "Power to
the People" line really sticks in your head, best
UK
entry in years. Cons - The chorus is a mess. I want to like
this, so, so much... it doesn't hook me in, I'm afriad.

This is the first song I listen this
year that screams 'winner' for me. It was fabulous on the first
listen and vocally it's very strong, but It's one of those songs
that sound so much better live. Anyway, I don't think it's a winner
but it might be a potential top 10 or even top-5 is possible. It
reminds me a bit the song 'Princess
of China' (Coldplay & Rihanna) and 'No light, No light'
(Florence & the Machine). I really like it!

It's a good entry for the
UK
this year, and might be one of the strongest grower for me.
Having say that, I think the
UK
will get a good result but do not see this entry good enough to
be a potential winner.

Children of the universe, dancing on the edge of time.... finally
something different, original and "refreshing". Catchy
enough, it goes in its quite anthemic way, with good sounds and a
powrful choir. She needs now a strong performance, without
unnecessary things on stage.

I had expected something like Katrina and the waves Love shine a
light, so obviously it felt short from that but it is still a
reasonable entry which will appeal to several people. Molly is a
nice new singer which is what Eurovision should be about, not has
beens who try to get their careers back on track

I'm *so* happy to see a change of
tactics from the
UK
! "CotU" has a strong hook and a classic ESC theme
(peace & unity) without being completely cliché or fluffy.
She's got the potential for star power without losing her sort of
"everygirl" quality. This is something for the British
public to be proud of.

Nice of the BBC to give someone sub pension age a go. Listened to
the song last night and had absolutely no recollection of any part
of it this morning apart from 'power to the people', catchphrase
from an 80's
UK
tv sitcom. And where was the aforementioned 'people power'?
Certainly not in the hands of the
UK
public to choose either singer or song!

Well this turned out to be a big surprise and a good one at that.
This is the best chance we have had for a long time and I demand a
top 10 place at least!! If the BBC are to continue with Internal
selections then giving a chance to a young unknown singer is a much
better Idea.

I can’t remember the last time a
UK
song got such a positive reaction from people or when I was
proud enough to wave a
UK
flag at Eurovision, UNTIL
NOW
! Finally we send
something contemporary, catch, well performed and with a good chance
of doing well in the contest! The only shame is that it’s taken
the
BBC
so many years to
do this! Not sure it’s a winner, but I can easily see it in the
top 10 come the 10th May, and that’s a massive step in the right
direction.

Bland.
Dated. Emperor’s New Clothes. No Substance.
All the personality of a blancmange.
No not last year’s winner but this year’s
UK
entry from the same stable. A great disappointment all round.
Points? It could go either way but I’m not all that
interested in this over hyped 3 minutes of nothingness.

A big improvement in vocal ability
following Bonnie's woeful effort last year. The 'Power to the
People' repetition, the insistent drumbeat and busy string section
are all pure Eurovision. This song should see the
UK
back on the left-hand side of the scoreboard. In Molly we trust!

great voice and fab to see us sending an anthem again after all
this time. As long as the sound mix is good then she'll do really
well, I think

Hoorah for the
UK
! This is something fresh, young and modern. It
deserves to do well, and hopefully we'll be looking at our first Top
10 placing since 2009. A song we can be proud of!

Well done BBC for doing something different and looking for a
talented singer/ songwriter. The result, an modern anthem focussing
on the vocals. She is a very good singer and the song is memorable.
Great backing singers too. A polished performance will see the
UK
proud; not a winner but a defo top 10 this year.

I see Frances Ruffelle, I am not sure
I see
10th
Place
. It’s a good
song, but takes more than one hearing to get it. ‘Power to the
people’ is a topical phrase at the moment and Molly seems to be a
confident artist on stage. I’m not wowed, but I can be proud of
this one. A national final for 2015 though eh? 8 songs like that?

Hmm I'm not totally wild about this.
If it were a school report I'd mark it 'good but could do better'.
The Beeb has upped the game and given us something different and no
doubt Molly is talented, but the song is not that special for me

Great
singer with great presence that can really sell a song, which is
just as well, because I think this song really needs selling.
Excellent production and the verses build wonderfully, but despite
all my patriotic fervour I find the chorus a bit naff. Luckily
others seem to like it a lot.

I am glad that BBC have opted for
fresh talent this year, she seems like a nice girl and I really like
her voice. Not sure whether the song is instant enough but shouldn't
embarrass us this year

Thank you BBC, thank you Guy Freeman,
thank you Molly. At last, a song and a singer to be proud of.
This soaring anthem can only ever get better and we can
finally reserve our top 5 slot once again.

This is a real grower. When I first heard it (24 hours before
almost anyone else, as I was at the live recording) I was impressed
but not in love. Now it's really grown on me, and Molly has such a
good voice. I have been humming this song all week so I have to rate
it highly.
