EUROVISION 2016 - STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN

60 SECONDS WITH.... Jamie-Lee from Germany

 With thanks to...Kim Schaal!

Jame-Lee displays a like for Jedward and all things Asian....

WE ASKED....

JAMIE-LEE SAID....

What did you want to be 'when you were older'?

I want to be a professional singer, of course!

Do you have any non musical hobbies?

I'm really interested in Asian culture and I like to listen to K-pop. I'm a creative person, so in my free time I like to draw and dance.

What could you not live without?

I could not live without make-up, haha.

What is your favourite quote or motto?

I love you. Its the I want to marry type of I love you - Jintan (AnoHana)

Who is your musical hero?

My musical hero is the korean rapper Pyo Jihoon.

Do you play any instruments?

I play the piano, but I think it's not that good.

How do you protect your voice?

I warm up my voice before performances and try not to strain it too much.

Do you have any rituals before going on stage?

I don't have any special ritual but I always have my lucky charm with me. Its a necklace I got from my coaches on The Voice of Germany.

What is your all-time favourite song (any genre)?

My favourite song is Zero for Conduct by Bastarz.

Do you have a favourite Eurovision song from any year?

I think "Lipstick" from Jedward was really cool!

Which of the 2016 Eurovision songs do you like?

I have listened to the songs only shortly because I would like to go to Stockholm with an open mind. Often the songs differ from the live performances and come out much stronger.

Will the presentation of your song be different to what we have already seen?

I will keep the general look of my performance in the national selection but of course I am thinking about how to enhance the whole performance, so you look forward to that.

What does performing to millions of people at Eurovision mean to you?

I feel very honored to be the representative of Germany. The performance at Eurovision will be my biggest so far and I'm really looking forward to it!

Is there any country that you would especially love to hear ‘DOUZE POINTS’ from?

I think it would be great to hear 'DOUZE POINTS' from any country!

Any message for our readers, please?

Wish me good luck and vote for me! I'm really excited to get to know your candidates. I hope you have a great time watching the show!

      Good Luck Jamie-Lee!
