I enjoy the different elements of this song. The traditional Balkan vibes mixed with the cello and rap actually come together very nicely. However, I was expecting a little more, and Deen annoys me as a performer. But, overall, a good comeback, and I predict to see this in the final placing between 12th-17th.

Bosnia Herzegovina is coming back with style. This song is good, very Balkan. It has all the elements form that region and with taste. I think it is a sure qualifier and it will do well on the night to. It is a contender for top 10 for sure.

Again and again Balkan sound again the performer of 2004 a repetition and no luck in the final Scoreboard. I wonder who are all those experts who decide the participation of a country of 5,000,000... it's called "hereditary chasrisma" . The return after 2012 should be renewed not stuffed. Pity

Another one good try to mix folk-styled pop music and rap. But I feel music could have been a bit deeper, more tragic. If they deliver a good performance, Bosnia will be in the final once again.

A return to ESC with a traditional, oriental sounding Balkan pop song performed by Dalal & Deen (another returning artist). Unfortunately 'Ljubav je' sounds clumsy and is spoilt by the unnecessary rap part. This is nowhere near as strong as for example, 'Korake Ti Znam' (BA-12) or 'Moj Svijet' (ME-14) and a proud 100% qualification record could be in danger. This sounds like it is trying too hard to please too many people and not really succeeding.

I love the cello in this song, and I do like the rap in the middle but the rest is pretty much meh, heard it before. They sing well though and it's nothing actually bad about this.

I wish I could love this song as the beginning is quite promising, feels like a proper Bosnian ballad. Alas, this feeling quickly subsides and the song becomes just a sequence of forgettable nothingness. Shame. Won’t go far.

I usually complain that Balkan ballads are sad and all sounds the same. This one is very enjoyable and I'm glad we will have it defending Bosnia return.

The song started off well but lost its direction I feel as it went on. There were all kinds of everything in there as a young Irish singer once said. Overall not great.

"OMG this is BRILLIANT" "Oh, why is that guy shouting aggressively at the cellist" "Oh he's rapping" "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO RAP IN THE SONG!!!" B&H you were doing so well... ditch the rapper and your score would improve significantly, because at the moment this is 2 songs crammed into 3 minutes and there's no cohesion at all.

The song is very good catchy chorus in my opinion but I think the rapper is pretty unnecessary. My advice - replace that rap-like bit with another instrumental.

Always like Balkan sounds, so the intro for me is very pleasant, voices are good and instruments sounds great. The "rap" part, even though it is not my type of music, gives here a nice break.
For sure a finalist, and top part of the final scoreboard.

Bosnia & Herzegovina : This is so typical song from them , and it get worse with the rap, but I liked the cello :D

When a song becomes noise. At the beginning, it seemed a typical song that you can expect from the Balkans, with their own distinctive lyrics, sounds and melodies. That rapping inroad makes me quite disoriented : a failed attempt to give something original in a long tradition of ballads ? I don't know the answer but I don't like the result that much. Sorry Bosnia .

First of all I am happy they are back but I am not happy with the song they have chosen. It seems they wanted to have everything in one song, instrumental, vocal, Balkan ballad and rap to be modern. It does not work and is quite confusing, The female has such a good voice and they probably should have send her alone with a big power ballad.

So happy to have B&H back in the fray! This is a classic Balkan ballad with the kitchen sink tossed in, but I rather like it, on first listen! Maybe I'm just relieved they didn't send "In the Disco 2.0"...

I don't mind admitting I'm a sucker for this type of Balkan pop music so it is great to have both BiH back and a locally composed song with unmistakable roots.

very dramatic! but I think it's a kinda of ok, but not a favourite. I like that they are singing in their native language,  I like that so it gets an extra point from me, not a winner but it might suprise on the night to score well.

Not sure about the rap but this is excellent! Welcome back, Bosnia !

There is no mistaking that this is a Balkan entry. It’s a bit more uptempo than the typical Balkan ballad, and I like the instrumental parts, but then in the middle of the song there’s a rap which just sounds completely out of place and ruins it for me, and the ending is very sudden. Not the worst thing I have heard but I am a bit disappointed with that.

Well - it's OK in a Balkan kind of way. There's nothing new here - usual instruments, usual vocals . . . and then that rapper! Really? Was it meant to liven up a plodding song rather than kill it stone dead? Maybe I'll get to love it but it's not happening yet!

David E

Hoorah! The return of Balkan angst, existentialism, and general rapping bizarreness! This will qualify because it’s Bosnia , but oh my, how the mighty (Deen) have fallen in 12 years!

5.5

Dean

Ethno Balkan ago-go! Despite the rap I quite like this. Deen (unrecognisable from 2004!) and Dalal complement each other well. This will be a grower for me. A definite qualifier.

Great to have them back and with such a dramatic song. We are not in the disco anymore. Great production and love the cello riffs. Although the rap section is not my cup of tea, it does take the song somewhere new. A finalist for sure.

Balkan style meets Rap and that meeting is where this fails for me. I like the beat and feel of this, but the rap interlude ruins what could be a stunning vocal performance. The rap feels angry and aggressive – too much of a contrast for me.

Joe

Really like the cello intro and the start of the song. And just when you think you might even vote for it... We get the rap part. Doesn't fit the song at all and ruins the experience. Such a shame.

5

Mark M

Well Deen certainly has had a makeover!  I'm never normally that big a fan of this type of music, but it's pretty good for what it is.  I don't like the rap part.  And Deen's head is distracting.

Martin

Ethnic Bosnian rap shoehorned into a Balkan ballad - someone thought that's a good idea, but it isn't.  A pure 'Dalal and Deen' love song, together with the cello solos, would have been a powerful and intriguing listen but the desire to show off Bosnian musical diversity just doesn't work.

This is atmospheric and I do like the lady playing the 'rib cage'.  I do love hearing songs in other languages although, on this occasion, I lost interest and it got quite messy at the end.  Stlll, it was sung with passion and feeling.

Nico

Vicky Watson told us what love is back in the 80s and I don't think this is it. I do enjoy a big Balkan ballad, yet this leaves me strangely unmoved. It's  all just a tad too earnest and lacking the subtleties of what true love actually is.

5

Sally-Ann

The oddest combination seen in ESC since Ireland paired the Jedward brothers.  A traditionally emotive homage to the Motherland is rudely interrupted by a bearded rapper and it just doesn't work.  Will qualify but solely due to its usual voting fans.

2

Tristán

A bit of a damp squib to be honest, though it is saved by Ana's occasional yelp as she plays her cello, and for once I'm relieved for having a bit of rapping which does make the song more passionate.
