This song seems promising and then falls flat. One of the better attempts from Switzerland in recent years, but in order for this to go anywhere, it will need a dynamic revamp.

Again a song that is not a winner but it is not bad. It is a very decent song from this country. The level of the songs from Switzerland overall is getting better but still not there to have a chance of winning. For me this song is ok, and I will forget till the end of the show. I do not think that it will be last but I cant see this song doing so well either

A decent participation with a very good composition. The singer is Canadian  (the Swiss Television prefers the Canadian singers). Unfortunately Switzerland has no allies or good neighbors. Unfortunately I think it wronged the final night and maybe stay out final since there is always a place for Azerbaijan ....... Crisis institutions and morals

Quite good song, but nothing special or new. Nice to listen as one of 43 songs, but I suggest to think of another performance to convert this tune into one  of the 10 ticket to the final.

This is the most modern song Switzerland has sent for many years. A great mix of a hopeful message and dark, electro sounds. I love Rykka's rich and expressive voice but there is still plenty of work to be done as the performance during the national final was far from perfect. She looks fantastic though (shades of Marilyn Monroe ?) This has huge potential and with the necessary fine tuning here and there it could bring the Swiss a very good result indeed.

A bit off tune and bad pronunciation. Another forgettable Eurovision ballad. Not much more to say about this.

Not a bad attempt from Switzerland and I hope it does well, or that at least it qualifies. It is a tad too repetitive but builds up nicely.

I don't see this song winning, but I see a clear superiority to all the rest of chosen entries so far. Bravo Switzerland ! This is a delicious song, that one can enjoy listening in 20 years in the future.

What can I say? she is really pretty, lovely hair, OK song, irritating voice, Sorry I don’t like it

This is actually a great song, but Rykka's vocals were all over the place! I really hope she manages to improve them before May because I think she has a real chance at qualification with this! It'll also take me a while to get over the "Stronger than water" lyric at the start...

Octavio

Decent song and  chorus is catchy,  but she needs to improve her voice, that is sometime shaky. There is for sure a lot to be improved, the song can be stronger and the performance has to be more impressive in order to make the song memorable.

An OK song this year for Switzerland . I do not really like it, it's a bit boring and repetitive for my taste. Still, Rykka has a pleasant voice, but would that be enough...I personally doubt.

Well, guite cute, and good performance but once again , something I  forget just minutes after listening

From La Suisse, a serious contender. Glittering contemporary sounds and an interesting voice. The songs has a nice, appropriate, interesting proceeding, without being tacky and boring.

So another Canadian for Switzerland – Rykka is better looking than Celine but not so sure if she will reach the same heights? The song is nice but it does not bowl me over.

I'm liking the 80's feelin this entry, and how anthemic it is, but Rykka's voice just doesn't seem strong enough for this song. There's room for improvement here, but it's not terrible.

After a couple of listens this song has really grown on me but I fear it may be just too safe to have a real impact on the competition and may struggle to make the final.

This song is not bad, i didn`t like it instantly but after a while i found myself liking it, hard to say if it will do well , i doubt it will qualify really, nice voice

Daniel

It was the best song of a very weak bunch. The vocal is weak but the song is good. It's a shame the song and performer don't work well together.

5

Danny

This is a really nice song which has shades of Sia, but the issue is that Rykka’s performance is a bit weak, and I fear that will be her downfall. I think the whole thing is a bit forgettable and qualification is pretty unlikely, which is a shame.

It always comes as a surprise when I find myself enjoying the Swiss entry. A slightly angst-ridden vocal but I like the slightly miserable feel to it all. Possibly no musical Swiss miss this year so hurrah for that.

7

David E

Hmm, I liked this more when I was just listening to the studio version.  It's certainly a current and vibrant sounding entry and as such deserves to get the Swiss their best placing for about 150 years...  Oomph up the live performance and you've got it!

8

Dean

A tricky one this. The studio version sounds great but it's produced to create a sound that's hard to replicate live. At the moment the live version is perfectly fine but it needs a bit of magic to lift it. That said this is Switzerland 's best entry since Paolo Meneguzzi.

Eddie

Very radio friendly and love the production. Modern and feels a new direction for Switzerland . I think it needs a better performance on stage and build on it being a solo song. No dancers but could do more with the staging. A finalist, I hope!

7

Gary

Overall I am left with the same feeling as last year for Switzerland . A good solid song but will it stand out? The live performance will need something special to make it that happen. A good song, all told, but not a winner.

6

Joe

They probably did choose the best song from a bad bunch, but this is still quite forgettable and I'm not sure the performance is strong enough to stop this missing out on qualification by a real distance.

I quite like this.  Promises more than it ultimately delivers but another solid entry from Switzerland .  Not a definite qualifier by any means as her vocals aren't the best.

6

Martin

It's all about the distinctive vocals and meaningful lyrics with this slow paced but powerful song - Rykka just needs to rediscover the visual edge and "don't care" attitude she had at the Expert Check stage to make this an entry Eurovision viewers will be captured by and captivated with.

Matt

At last a song I like that has real potential to do well.  I just hope that Rykka doesn't sing quite so flat/strained! It's quite dramatic which I like in a song and it has feeling too.  I hope she can sing it better as it'll do well.

8

Nico

A good song here and Rykka clearly has vocal talent, but the delivery is distinctly lacking in light and shade. Sung at the same level of volume and tone throughout, a likeable song starts sounding rather dull after the second minute. I also feel like she needs to move from the spot and engage with the viewer more dynamically. This is all fixable though so fingers crossed.

Sally-Ann

A really decent song from Switzerland - and yes, I do say that with some surprise.  A proper, well-sung and well-phrased power ballad by a singer with edge - it would sit comfortably in the UK charts.

6

Tristán

A decent winner at last, and a Canadian to boot, and we know what happened the last time they chose a Canadian. I secretly wanted KACEO to win, I thought they were great fun, but of the more serious acts, Rykka was the best.
