I really enjoy the song, but I could see it getting lost among other entries. When you look at Minus One as a group and then hear the song, it almost doesn't make sense, but the song and staging do have potential! |

This song is a sure qualifier.Cyprus is back in the game of good results.Cyprus is stating to be a good contender for a good spot now consistently. I think this song will end between top 10-15 and that's a very good result for this country. It is catchy, modern, rock so i think it will do well. |

Very good effort, nice video clip, good looking boys and a contribution that will be discussed. I sincerely hope to defeat although Europe has limited the border over the Alps, a pity because the poor South is trying but Europe remains deaf ....Wkae Up Europe.... the fairytale is gonna be over soon! |

Good Eurovision rock tune with familiar music lines, but it’s typical for G:son. Last year I was missing such entries, so it’s good that rock babies are back to Eurovision! I hope they will deliver a good staging like Georgia 2011 or Turkey 2010! |

In stark contrast to
the very mellow 'OTISHD' from 2015, this years Cypriot entry
'Alter Ego', (co-written by Minus One and Thomas G:Son) has a hook that
grabs you by the throat and is instantly memorable with driving, rhythmic
drums and a soaring vocal. This is far from subtle but with an
energetic staging in |

This
song reminds of The Killers - Somebody told me. Nothing bad about that,
it's a good song and I like the classic rock sound. Even though I like
this, it doesn't catch my attention 100%. Depending on the live
performance this can be a nice refreshing break. |

This is an ok rock-pop song with a strong Swedish-fication that I think weakens its rock credentials. However it works well but rather repetitive. |

I don't see ESC like the showcase for a rock band, I think Minus One will have to be very creative and will have to present a good show, if they don't want to be "another rock band" dressed in black, returnining with the hands empty with more pain than glory to their homeland. This is not my musical style, however the song is nice. |

Whilst this isn’t the type of music I would normally choose to listen to, I can see the attraction of this song. Will definitely make the final and probably finish mid table |

This is amazing! One of the best rock songs I've heard entered into the contest. I can't fault this at all! |

I didn't expect something so good. The song is really powerful, the chorus is memorable and it gives space for a very strong performance on stage. |

Incredibly catchy
tune, an uplifting anthemic pop-rock entry, powerful and compelling. It's
hard to get this out of your mind. I really hope now in a very good and
effective stage performance, so we can welcome |

It doesn't exactly break new ground, but it's memorable, has a great hook, and the performers are engaging. Always nice to see a bit more of a rock edge in the Contest! |

This sounds like almost every single one of those rock entries that turn up in Melodifestivalen every. It’s catchy with a strong chorus (you can tell it’s a G:son song) but I’ve heard this kind of song countless times before and it doesn’t excite me at all. Still it is different from anything else in the line-up so far, which can only be a good thing. |

On
paper, this shouldn't work. It feels like an old Melodifestival reject
handed to a faux rock group . . . who manage to make a decent fist of
it! Maybe not a winner but this has to be |

My inner schlager-rock God is loving this loads! The chorus sounds like The Killers, and that’s a good thing in my book. Sir Thomas of G:Son always delivers such a quality product. General excellence. |

Schlager
rock with echoes of Cutting Crew's I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight, and
Magnus Carlsson's Mot mig I Gamla stan. This is great. I can see it going
big, big, big. Well done |

Totally surprised by this. Was expecting something darker but then I saw Gson was involved. Great sound - hope it has a massive stage production. Could do very well for them. Really radio friendly.Reminds me a bit of Manga from 2010. |

This sounds like something from Melodifestival in the 2000s and a touch too Swedish sounding for my liking. It’s too polished to be a real rock song and the fan hype is just bemusing to me (when do they/we ever rave about a rock song at Eurovision?!). I do not want a Eurovision that is full of “Swedish” songs, thank you. They sound like they can belt out a number though, so good luck to them. |

A delicious pop melody disguised as rock. This reminds me of the Killers, and I'm sure this will woo a fair number of voters. This could well be one to watch. |

Promises more that it delivers for me. albeit it's a more than competent rock/boyband type song. Catchy enough for not going to be troubling the top of the leaderboard. |

This is more like it! Ok, it might have had some Swedish help but, that aside, this is far and away the best to date. Build, mood and a great tune which keeps my interest to the end. Let the sunshine island rock! Excellent. |

Hurray - a proper song! This was written by the Eurovision dream team but there is nothing cliched about it. A rocking good number sung by a proper band and I look forward to its live performance. One of the most credible entries in this year's contest. |

Normally this is not my kind of music at all, but this is not too bad. It has a real good catchy beat to it and is a definite qualifier. But I can't listen to it without getting the chorus of The Killers' song that goes "Somebody told me, you had a girlfriend, looks like a boyfriend" bit. Same key and all. So have to mark it down for that. |
