Without a doubt the Czech Republic 's best entry to date. This is a really pretty entry and is executed very nicely in the video. I hope it can remain memorable live because this song deserves a strong performance!

Well this song is not bad from the Czechs. They are starting to understand what kind of quality they have to bring to score points. I am a fan of their song from last year and this is a decent follower.I would like to be behind the song and the czehs and it is not so hard for me to do this year.I hope it will qualify but this is not a winner though.

A strong ballad into the first semi final that finally became very very difficult. . A Gorgeous appearance and a marvellous voice . I did not expect that from Czech Republic . So my Czech friends we are ready to join you at the final for the very first time.

I’m very picky about ballads. This one is too boring for me, but I like Gabriela’s voice, it’s beautiful!

'I Stand' is easily the strongest song that the Czech s  have sent to the contest. This has instant impact, an epic production and the potential to blow us away on stage (perhaps keep the performance very simple). This is a stunning, soaring, emotional power ballad full of empowerment and with a beautiful string section throughout. Give this a great draw and surely there has to be a place in the final for the Czech Republic for the first time ...

The first word popping up in my head for this song is "slow". Very uninteresting, drawn out and a bit whiny. It's like listening to nothing happening.

I still don't understand how the Czech entry remained in Semifinals in 2015, and that made me feel not confident on the sucess on this year. But the entry by itself deserve a spot in a final. I hope the quality of the song ca overcome disporas and we can celebrate the first Czech final ever.

It's great! Good song and the singer has a great and powerful voice. Maybe can Czech Republic qualify for the first time. I hope Europe just give a chance to a country that tries to send something beautiful with a good singer with powerful voice.

Beautiful and powerful song. Gabriela hasa nice voice and hope she can deliver in Stockholm . I really hope to see Czech Republic in the final this year and won't turn out like last year.

Melancholy and beautiful

Interesting entry. It's nice to see this little European country growing in quality and elegance. It seems that she can sing and the song is a rather powerful ballad, melancholic, emotional, poignant, but "natural". I think it's time to welcome the Czech Republic to the Grand Final.

In the 90’s Russia debuted with a song and the female singer wore a strange dress but it fascinated me that I never got around the song, all attention to the dress. This is exactly what happened with this song, the video captured me and I got so involved in it that I really did not catch much of the song. But it sounded pleasant but not Czech at all. I think this is their best entry but then they have had some horrors.

Incredibly elegant and almost haunting. It's a huge ballad, but it doesn't get too syrupy or mushy...a very fine line to tread. Respectable showing by the Czechs.

Another year of making up the numbers in the semifinal for the Czech Republic . There is nothing terrible about this song but nothing about it to make it stand out among some very strong competition either.

This is a bit boring, people will forget about this one when it's time to vote, it won`t stick out enough,

Last year, we had so many ballads but in a more upbeat year, it's nice to find a good strong ballad. I think the Czechs will get their best result to date with this. Hope to see them at the final. Finally.

This is a very welcome ballad in this year’s line-up. Gabriela has a fantastic voice and I love how this song builds throughout the song. On song alone, this definitely deserves to qualify, but it’s in a very difficult semi and the Czechs don’t have a lot of friends, so I think they’re going to have it tough. Still, the best Czech entry ever!

This came as a nice surprise! Another somewhat downbeat ballad in ESC 2016 but I'm a sucker for a bit of doomy orchestration. Maybe this is the song which will earn the Czech Republic a place in the final. It deserves to.

This one sounds a bit bit pedestrian for me. Yes, she stands….so do I when I’m not sitting down… Nope, not really getting this one.

Is this the Czech Republic 's best ever entry? Yes, of course it is! But although I expect a good performance, it's another deeply serious mid tempo entry, which doesn't quite have that magic ingredient.

6

Eddie

Wow, their best ever entry! Such a well produced song, amazing voice. A finalist for sure!

9

Gary

Modern with a too-often heard repetitive line. A solid song for sure, but distinctive? Sadly not. I can’t imagine this in the final, but I hope that they keep trying.

Joe

Wasn't expecting this from Czech Republic , this is wonderful. It has a real sense of drama to it and a strong vocal performance should see her qualify for the final with ease.

I want this to be a lot better than it is.  It's definitely the Czech's best ever entry but I suspect they will keep up their 100% non-qualification record.

Martin

Could this be the one to get the Czech Republic to the Final?  The answer is possibly - this is a wonderfully classic ballad with meaningful lyrics, delivered by a superb vocal from a beautiful woman but its melancholic nature and 'one level' music might lead it to be ignored...

6

Matt

Love this one - atmospheric, dramatic and a darn good singer.  One of a number of songs this year that conjures up pictures in the mind, which is good. Celtic-Rock? I hope this will give them their first final appearance as it might encourage them to continue entering.

9

Nico

There's no denying it's their best entry to date. Decent ballad, elevated by a great voice. I want them to be in the final, but there are definitely 10 songs I can see qualifying above this. If she sings the pants off it live though, a final place will certainly not be undeserved.

Sally-Ann

No bouncing Czechs this year, just another ballad in a tsunami of ballads.  This one doesn't stand out in any way and their long-awaited return may end with a damp squib of a result.

Just when I was worried this was going to be the worst Eurovision ever, we're getting some real last-minute crackers aren't we? The Czechs were so unlucky not to get through last year, and I really hope they get through this year or I can see them leaving. This is another very on-trend song, and will be sure to end in the top 15 on the Saturday night.
