It wouldn't be
Eurovision without a boy-band number. I definitely preferred Simone, but
this isn't bad. For the simplistic pop song that it is, it does have some
potential to carry over well with audiences across |

Well
this song doesn't do anything for me. It is yet again a very cheep song,
crap lyrics, cliché. It doesn't hurt anybody and people will like it, but
I do not think they will vote massively for it. |

Absolutely boring song with lots of cliches. I can listen to it without pushing Skip button, but the song is not what I would choose to listen to or pay money for. I hope they will change their performance, especially microphone boom. |

Denmark won the last 2 contests held in Sweden and hope that will happen again. I have my doubts. 'Soldiers of love' (29 years after Belgium's song of the same name) is catchy and carries a positive message but it is a bland and inoffensive pop song that could easily be overshadowed by stronger songs. Work is also needed on their vocals. Anja or Simone would perhaps have given them more hope. Touch and go for the final. |

Charming song and charming singers. Radio friendly and very good singing. The lyrics are a bit cheesy, but whatever. This is not bad! |

I think I like this song far more than I should as it is formulaic and predictable. However I kind of like it and wouldn’t mind if it qualified for the final, and I think it most probably will. |

I'm certain that Denmark is one of the best musical industries in Europe, however their choices in the last 3 eurovisions have been wrong, Soldiers of love, is an Ok song that one can resist to listen complete but wont be tempted to listen to it more and more. I hope you danish are prepared for a second year stuck in semifinals, it can happen. |

Oh I really like this one! Catchy chorus, 3 singers that can actually sing, no gimmicks going on in the background. What more could you want? |

It's a middle-of-the-road entry that really belongs in the 2000's. The vocals are okay, and the boys are cute, so I guess they'll have that going for them. The weakest Danish entry in years. |

Catchy song, great message, good singing, but the boy band thing is so unconvincing to me. |

I don't like this one
much to be fair. A pity as I feel the worst song won the Dansk Melodi
Grand Prix. I really do not see |

Quite good song, nice
refrain, but it comes and it goes quickly. Not the same
"sing-a-long-with-me" song you can expect from |

Although
I wanted Bracelet to win because of the ABBA grandsons, this is quite nice
– sort of Danish The Herrey’s. I like the title SOLDIERS OF LOVE, yes
it has been used before but that was back in the 80’s so it was time to
have the title recycled. I see tons of negative comments and comparisons
to their entry last year but this is much better and I hope |

Yep, you can tell that this is Danish. Positive, happy-clappy...and utterly pedestrian and formulaic. You can almost tell that they *really* don't want to host again. |

2016 is a year for second chances... Ira Losco, Greta Salóme... And Soldiers of Love! Modern boy band sound but perhaps a little too formula to go all the way, although Denmark have scooped the prize on the last 2 occasions the contest has been held in Sweden! |

This reminds me of Take that and the song is like something from their album, it’s not a bad song I guess, but then it’s boring too, it shouldn't qualify in my opinion but most probably it will. |

This
song was my toilet break during the Danish final! I thought Anja Nissen
would win and was very disappointed that |

Cornering the market in bland, manufactured pop. Arguably a much better effort than last year but these songs always sound as though they have been carefully assembled by a joyless committee. It's all very sterile. |

This is like a Lego Eurovision entry made up with lots of colourful little bricks that previously made up older entries! Trouble is, it's too bland for its' own good. Can't see this making the Saturday night, I'm afraid. |

I'm a bit of Danish fan. They're probably my favourite country in the contest thanks to Hot Eyes. This year's song isn't as fantastic as Det'Lige'Det obviously, but it's still quite catchy and I think it will make the final. |

Wow, the really don't want to win again do they. Typical middle of the road pop. Nothing special but not offensive. very radio friendly but can't decide whether it will make the final. Not a memorable performance. |

I wrote this off as
too simple when it won, but it’s a tune that keeps coming into my head,
so maybe they have something. |

This 'Man Band' looked
totally shocked to have won DMGP with this bland, formulaic album filler
that has hints of O-Zone's 'Dragostea din tei' about it. All very
nicely sung and everyone is smiling but the Danish public's vote means
that they will only attend a SF gig in |

This is pleasant enough and whilst the chaps not
only look decent but do have good voices, this just ambles along and
doesn't really have much of a 'spark' that would help it along. It may
qualify if standards don't pick but |

Cheery and perfectly pleasant, Good vocals and nice staging. If this were sung by a famous boy band it would probably be a huge hit, which is not to say it's an amazing song, rather it's a standard, solid Eurovision song, nothing ground breaking. Soft on the eye too, the middle one that is. |
