YES FRANCE ! I love this song! I've been listening to it nonstop since I heard about it. If this is performed well live, I will genuinely be upset if France is not in the top 5 with this. Modern, radio friendly, yet still distinctive. Great job!

OMG. France is going in almost all the way in English. That it is new and weird. The song is nothing new the only special parts are when the guy sings in French. This songs deserves better than rock bottom but I think with the scoring history of the years before will not help this entry to go far. For me this entry is in the middle, not hated and not loved either. The worst scenario.

I can not understand why this country with 60,000,000 inhabitants always looking for the participants at other  nationalities. The Israeli origin performer is not necessary that he will take attract from Israel . The song is boring and indifferent as most of the songs this year. I Am bored

Good summer dance tune. No more words needed!

France clearly mean business this year. 'J'ai cherché' is a catchy, modern pop song with electronic beats and Amir is a great singer and very charismatic. This is very strong, rousing and a lot of fun and a nice mix of French and then English in the chorus. A touch of Summer, this is France's best song for some time and could go close to winning or at very least deliver a good result for them after so many disappointments in recent years.

I love that he mixes in english in the chorus without losing the songs french-ness. It's very catchy and I really enjoy listening to this. A bit energy lacking and off tune at times, but still good.

Now we are talking. What a great song. I really like this. This has a very nice rhythm, the French and English work really well in the song, and I do like the lyrics. I think, and hope, that France will do really well. Possibly a well-deserved top 5

I always asked why France didn't sent any contemporary nice pop song that show us their real musical level. Well J'ai cherché is exactly what I was expecting. The best Big 5 without any doubt,

This is a catchy little number however I have some doubts about the artist ability to sing well live. It won't set the competition alive.

I love this! It's pretty middle of the road, but the song is well produced, well written, Amir looks and sounds great, and it should appeal to both the jury and public vote. Nice work!

It's a very catchy song and has a really nice melody. I really like this, definitely a great choice. modern, fresh and contemporary song and a very likeable performer.  Not a winner obviously but should be enough for a respectable result for France , finally.

What a nice entry at last France . I like the music - it's fresh and entertaining, Amir has a nice voice - and the english bit really suits the song. France will have to work on a nice staging but that one could finish high.

Robin Stjernberg ????? Youuuuuooouuuooouuu......

He's better than Stjernberg, but but too easy to forget ....

The best song so far. Brilliant, amazing pop-contemporary tune à la française at its best. Undoubtedly catchy, freshy, original, with that typical French touch that gives to the whole entry a special atmosphere. Amir is a talented singer, he has a very good voice, a simple but very effective look impact, without selfish implications. Well done France .

I like the idea of a song in two languages. I have never made it is a secret that France is my least favourite country in Europe but since last year France has tried and again this year their effort is not bad. If it is staged as well as last year, then France will have a reasonable placing in my list. I see some rave over it and even think France could win, I doubt that, but it is surely not a last position.

Very summery, breezy, and commercial. Can't help but smile when I listen to this, but will I remember it ten songs later?

I like this but worry it won't have the impact for just one hearing.

very cheerful song and i like it, i like the mix between french and English, i think this is one of the best french entries I have heard since a few years, i hope it dose well, it should - it deserves to be there.

Wow. Wasn't expecting something like this from France . Glad they've gone bilingual, hopefully it'll get them some more points on the scoreboard.

This is quite a contemporary song from France which has a catchy chorus in English. The problem is that there are a lot of similar sounding songs this year and I’m not sure that this will stand out among 25 other songs. It’s currently very high with the bookmarkers but I fear it going to be mid-table at best.

Shades of Sweden 2013 here but with a much better end product. France has promised so much over the years and has often failed (2011, 2012). I like the infectious backbeat and the good blend of French and English. This COULD be a high scorer for France and I hope it is. However, we've said that many times before. Rien ne change . . .

Loved it the first time I heard it, which is great in Eurovision terms, but after only two or three listens I'm just a bit "meh" with this one.  Sounds like a better re-hash of Robin's "You" from Sweden in 2013.  The ESC equivalent of a good Chinese take-away.  Hugely satisfying when you first open the carton, but a few hours later you're craving a lot more...

I'm not a massive fan of dual language songs, but this is great. And it gets better with every play. Something fresh and poppy from France . Fab!

Franglish. Very radio friendly and his a great performance. A toe taper. Great to see them go a bit more modern. Mid table for me.

Not totally getting the hype on this one. It’s a nice song and a good entry from France , but the verses are so low key and haven’t we heard that You-ou-ou-ou-ou somewhere before? Nothing to dislike, but it just doesn’t grab me like I thought it might. Maybe when others are raving, it makes you feel that it will feel the same for you too. Sadly, this one doesn’t. I hope it does well though.

This is rather cool. We tend to associate France with a typical old-fashioned chanson (which they do so well) but this year it's back to modern pop. Great chorus and it stays in your head. Bravo.

What a great song and great looking singer. Is it too French? I don't think so and should see France 's best result in a while.

9

Martin

Singing some English didn't hurt Natasha St-Pier in 2001 and it definitely doesn't hurt Amir now.  France will be there or thereabouts with this superb upbeat toe-tapper that will stick in your head - his good looks and 'happy' delivery of "J'ai Cherché" will be a definite highlight in Stockholm .

I like this.  A nice combination of languages and a nice jolly, if ever-so-slightly repetitive, tune. Oh and something quite pleasant to look at can only help.  Hopefully this will give France a decent placing.

Woohoo! This is what France has been searching for, for a long, long time. Finally a proper French pop song. Wonderfully constructed, with a beguiling chorus in which the English blends harmoniously with the French without detracting in any way. However, we're unable to judge the full performance, so full judgement has to be reserved. If he can sell this though, Paris is not out of the question. L'incroyable est possible! Je l'adore.

This is the sort of thing I want to hear at Eurovision.  It may put me in mind of a car advertisement soundtrack, but it's fresh, snappy, poppy - and sung by a hunk. Definitely a front-runner - je t'adore.

Tristán

France 's best entry since Anggun, this is a real toe-tapper and unless they're (again) terribly unlucky with the running order, this has to end up in the top half. Has a very wide appeal. Well done. It reminds me of another song, but don't they all these days!
