The song has so much potential... it's a shame that potential isn't represented on stage. I hope that they work out a solid performance for the contest, because this could really stand out with a little more oomph.

Well our neighbors are sending disco rubbish to from the 90's again. This time it is a little bit better than last year, but in a year with a lot of upbeat songs this will remain in the semi's.I'm sorry friends from over the Prut , but this song is bad.

A Very strong and powerful song and another one great entry  for the country in the contest. Certainly to Grand Final as a result of many alliances and expatriates. Definitely 12 points from Romania . I wonder about the stage presence although the country has advanced significantly in style and costume themes. ... I like it

I can’t find anything new for me in this song, besides a very simple “template” of the songs was used. So far it’s the least interesting song for me this year.

Part of the team behind Polina's song last year (and the Norwegian entry this year) are responsible for 'Falling Stars'. This is typical Euro dance pop with some interesting nuances here and there, for example the haunting build up frm the intro before the chorus explodes. Lidia is a very pretty girl and there is plenty of potential here. The staging needs to be improved, beef things up and improve the vocals. This is the strongest Moldovan entry since Aliona in 2013.

Ouch.... This song is a good attempt but she is totally off.  It could have been another one of thousands up beat esc pop songs, but her singing is just horrible.

This is completely fine and could provide a refreshing banal but ‘dancy’ moment in the semi-final. I don’t think her voice is great but I think they put a quite nice performance which could work well in Stockholm .

An usual style for Moldova (which I really appreciate). I perfectly can see this song in the final, however is not my cup of tea, just a correct song

OMG this woman can’t hit the high notes, and there are a lot of them!! My ears are bleeding. Is it over yet!!

Well it won't set the leaderboard on fire, but this is a pretty solid entry from Moldova and it should qualify with ease. It's nice to have a camp Eurodance track to let loose in the arena to. I would have preferred something a bit more "Moldovan" but this will do.

Nice song, actually I like it! Great singer. She really needs to improve her vocals and needs better backing singers.

An average song, not good - not bad. Did not like the staging at all, looked cheap. It really sounds like Yohio - Heartbreak Hotel to me, specially the chorus.

This is when I go and " powder my nose "Weak eastpop, sounds false . I don´t like.

Never been a fan of the Moldovan entries so far and this is another case I am not fond of their songs. Another one that comes and goes, nothing special, nothing original. It leaves me cold and utterly indifferent. I can go on with or without it.

Moldova is one of those countries were I have never had a horror but also never a song I absolutely rave about. This song is again so in the middle that I cannot recall much of it so it made hardly an impression – good or bad – so maybe voters will also forget it is there. I personally do not think it will advance to the final unless a spectacular performance awaits us in Stockholm

This feels very 2006 to me...not particularly innovative at this point, but you always know that Moldova tends to throw the kitchen sink at the live shows. But for now...meh.

After 16 performances and almost as many 'expert' jury scores the Moldovan public chose the wrong singer with a generic number that will struggle to make the final. One consolation... there were a lot worse options!

This is ok. There is a lot of up-tempo songs about and some good ones might get missed, this is funky and I can see it getting everyone in the mood, another I think should qualify,

7

Daniel

I actually think this may be my favourite song so far! Ticks all my boxes! I'll be rooting for Moldova - for the first time ever!

This is sure to be a floorfiller in Euroclub, and Lidia performs it fairly well, though the performance is a bit too static, and needs some dancers. Definitely one I will be adding to my gym playlist. If they managed to come eleventh in the semi last year, this could qualify.

Lidia's going to have to work on her vocal but I'm wondering if even Beyonce could save this. The song is joyless and generic and very, very dated. It's the kind of thing that might have surfaced in Melodifestival a decade ago. Europe : we have our toilet break.

Takes a while to get going, and when it does it sounds like every other generic mid-European dance-type entry of the past 7 years.  Original it ain't!  Having said that, its fine - nothing more - nothing less.

Dean

This is ok and quite poppy but it's not a song you'd especially remember. Borderline qualifier.

5

Eddie

Swedish feel to the entry. Typical europop and she's an ok singer. Needs something special to see this qualify.

5.5

Gary

From a bizarre final, a fairly safe and generic number from an (albeit) enthusiastic performer. The Moldovans are sure to come up with a special outfit for Lidia, but this just is not different enough to drag Europe from their sofas to pick up the phone. Likely to compete with Finland and Slovenia as blandest uptempo number.

Who said schlager was dead? It's simply moved to Moldova that's all. I really love this; the chorus is just HUGE and so uplifting. Moldova 's best since Natalia Barbu in 2007. In fact this is even better.

Don't really get this. I tend not to get Moldovan entries though so it will probably do ok.

A bulk standard Euroclub-sounding dance track, 'Falling Stars' would be the sort of song that a DJ might put on as a filler before a killer tune is played.  This was the best Moldovan entry on offer... it's not bad but not that memorable either - another Final non-qualification beckons.

Ok, her live performance was pants but I really like the song and I hope she can nail it.  Oh but speaking of pants - I would suggest a different costume in May, unless you want your legs to help 'sell' the song? Euro by numbers!

Nico

They've gone cheap and cheerful again. Standard Scandi style sodden turf, with no discernible difference from a thousand other formulaic songs that NF's across Europe are flooded with every year. It doesn't make it unpleasant, but certainly if there's a sea of mediocrity then this drains right into it.

5

Sally-Ann

I couldn't hear one note sung in tune during her live performance.  The chorus sounds very familiar but I'd rather not hear it again sung in such a painful fashion

Oh Moldova . What a shame. Yes, it has a beat, but it's the most predictable bit of nonsense and she's an awful singer. I had this bottom (16th place) in the Moldovan final, so you can imagine my utter disappointment when it won. How could you choose this and not DoReDos. Fools. Moldova chose my least favourite last year too. I see a pattern forming.
