This was everything I was hoping for and then some from Ira! I typically don't like it when countries change their songs after the national final, but I am "a-ok" with this! This song will be all over Europe after the contest and will be remixed in clubs and bars all summer! Great job Malta! |

I don't like this song better than the previous one.It is a little bit different, but not top 10 material at all |

WOW, indeed. Except the fact that I always did not like her as a singer and her silly song in 2002, when i I got informed that she would change her song, I said to myself....A disaster. But ... never say never. Modern sound nice voice and Malta is in the Final between the favourites. Congats Ira. |

The people's choice was discarded in favour of this, a contemporary pop song with strong drum and bass undertones. Imported from Sweden, it oozes Molly P H soul and is co-written by her. A lot of hype, but I am not convinced it fixes everything that was wrong with 'C(I)'. It lacks direction and sounds quite messy at times. Ira will need strong backing vocalists to compensate for her own vocal shortcomings, particularly when she has to deliver intense and razor edged vocals during the chorus. |

I'm a bit provoked that they changed song but oh well. It was a good change of songs, t's powerful and will definitely wake up the audience. The singer has a good voice and as long as she can bring enough energy for the song on stage this will go straight to finale. |

Not
sure Malta did the right thing changing their song. It's very
formulaic but I think it kinda works. There is nothing Maltese about this,
it is your non-descript pop song. It's ok enough and a strong performance
could take |

I didn’t really like Malta’s first entry and I have to confess I don’t really like this either! Malta this year seem to be stuck in a rather unpleasant time warp |

Great track, very radio friendly. Ira's voice sounds very solid on this, however I have some reservations as to how it will hold up on stage. A nice enough entry, but not something that blows me away. |

Ira has a beautiful and amazing voice but the song it's pretty poor i'ts definitely repetitive which is it's downside. I liked the first song more. I think it get lost to the other euro pop songs but yes its definitely repetitive which is it's downside. Expected more from it actually. |

Much better than Chameleon'. The song but nothing more, it's a bit messy for me, I don't really understand that song. Might qualify but if so, I don't it stands a chance to do good. |

She´s a good singer but I don´t like this at all. I don´t even remember it anymore ..... |

Incredible how this new song shows something interesting and something hasty in the same time. I do liked "Chameleon", but this one is a bit pretentious and inconclusive. Ira's musical and performing skills will save it all, I'm quite sure. This could have been a modern-pop powerful ballad, but the refrain is rather pesky. It's a pity for Malta. |

We had a huge rain storm yesterday – tons of water and I thought it was a great sign for a good song from Malta. Unfortunately it was not a WOW moment for me. Difficult to say if it is better than Chameleon as I always prefer watching a video to a live performance. But in the greater scheme of things, I think both songs are not good but not bad. Like someone said, this is no 8th wonder. |

An improvement over the one-note "Chameleon", and Ira's voice and look is spectacular, but there's something missing from the package that keeps me from screaming "winner!". Wish it built more upon itself and grew... |

I'd love to see a Maltese victory and I suspect there will be quite a lot of fans of this but I'm not one. Maybe I'm showing my age but it just sounds too messy and desperate against some of the other entries. |

This is very very good and I like it, this could be a potential winner I think, it`s a definitely qualifier, she sings good, this will stick out. |

A Melodifestivalen reject? I like this but still can't get over the fact that the whole Maltese national final was disregarded. If they wanted Ira, they should've selected her without going through a whole competition. Feel sorry for the other artists. |

There was a lot of hype around this song, due to a certain website, and due to that I think that this has had an unfair chance. I think this sounds like something that would be a MASSIVE hit in the UK charts and it’s a completely different sound for Malta. Whether that will translate into votes, I am not sure, but for me, it’s a huge improvement from Chameleon. |

I'm sure she will turn in a great performance of this song but it is oh so forgettable. After two plays I thought 'that's OK' and then forgot every single note. It's not very special but it's OK and will no doubt be a finalist. Ho-hum . . . |

Yet another Sia/Rihanna styled up-tempo power anthem… there are certainly a LOT of songs that fit that profile this year. Will they all cancel each other out? Part of me is rather ticked off at Ms Losco for ditching the song that her fellow countrymen chose. Why even bother with a final? Did she personally reimburse all those voters after she decided their choice was rubbish? I suspect not. |

Is it better than Chameleon? Possibly, just. The backing track seems to drown Ira out a bit in the chorus, so they'll need to work on that. But ANOTHER mid tempo female song? Enough already! |

A more modern sounding track than the first choice but not as great, IMO! I don't think it really knows what it wants to be - needs more of a punch! |

I feel sorry for the singers and song-writers of Malta, not to mention the televoters from the national final – what’s the point of a national final that you then ignore and then buy in a track from abroad? Shameful. The song is pretty bland (in a ‘heard it all before’ way) and has no hook to speak of. Much ado about nothing. What a waste of time. |

I preferred chameleon. I think this song will be too big for Ira when performing live. Not a fan at all. |

When I first heard this, I wondered what Malta were thinking as my immediate reaction was that Chameleon was better. On second listen I've changed my mind and I quite like it. It's more contemporary and might do quite well. |

Yep, definitely the right decision to change songs, Malta! 'Walk On Water' makes full use of Ira's amazing vocal ability and range, combining it with a much more contemporary sound that sounds radio-friendly enough to stay in voter's memories far past Eurovision. An upgrade to Finalist and likely mid-table respectability... |

Well, to be blunt this is style over substance. The 'original' would have been better with tweaks. I was immediately put off at the start by what sounds like a strangulated seagull. To me this doesn't cut the mustard or even butter the bread. Sorry. |

I object massively to the changing of songs chosen in a public vote - it cheats the public as well as the performers. But based on song alone, this is a big improvement to the original, though I fear Ira's vocal range will let her down cometh the hour. |

This is a very interesting song, almost two different styles in one. I love the early 90s house sound it has in half of it, and this is chalk and cheese compared to Chameleon, which I'd only given 5 points. Thank you Malta, you are in contention again. |
