Sweden is always contemporary and modern and this entry is no exception. I wish it was Ace Wilder this year, but I really do appreciate this entry. I think it's very radio friendly and Frans' charisma and simplicity will resonate well with the audiences!

Well the host country decided an ok song.He has charisma and this entrance is good, different with not much up and downs. It is fun with a lot of lyrics with a good line.Still 2nd in the odds it is way exaggerated.I think it will do middle table.

So many good songs and the most amazing national final and Sweden decided to sent that young boy with a mediocre song. The juries voted for him, the audience loved it (what for??)  but on the final scoreboard he will be 25th place JUST above Greece . The Swedes do not want victory this year. A pity for Oscar Zia and Ace Wilder. Maybe one of the worst songs of this year's contest and one of my worst ever (after the ARK). Congrats Sweden you disappointed me...

I love simple songs, this one is very good and adapted to Eurovision. It’s so Swedish.

This is the song that Swedes hope will bring them a 7th victory. It is a gamble though as this is not the usual, 'safe' and calculated choice they send. It is chilled and laid back, perhaps too much so or perhaps they are onto something as it is so different to their previous entries ? Less is more with this minimalist performance and Frans seems very natural and honest.  Will it stand out because of its simplicity ? Tough call but I'm saying this is not the winner ...

Elena

This is really charming. I really like that it doesn't sound exactly like every other swedish entry, it's close, but it still has some individuality. It's very laid back without being tired and the rhythm is really nice.

8

Frederico

This is quite an ok entry but I think it may just fall flat. There is certain laziness about it and it is very repetitive. Frans' voice is average at best.

José

The song is nice ... but it is Sweden and one is always expecting the best from Sweden, and in 2016 they are not sending a killer song. This is a soft melody that one can enjoy listening but not much more than that. This has been the weakest Melodifestivalen in years and so the winner.

7

Mark L

This is a real grower. Initially I thought is was quite boring but I really like it now. was singing along by the end of the song

8

Melissa

This is way too similar to 'Catch and Release' by Matt Simons for my liking. Worst Swedish entry in years, which sadly is still better than 60% of the field.

Octavio

He is very sweet and does seem like a nice guy but his boring/uninteresting stage performance will not manage to catch the eye of the majority of the viewersThe song is really a pitty and I think it hasn't the biggest chance of winning Eurovision.

Well, it's just an OK song for me, nothing great, a bit boring at the end. Really not for me.

Here we go again ......sooo good ! Different to the others . It's even better on the radio ! Another top 5 !

Minimalist sounds, almost trembling. Really stale entry : repetitive, weak and rather enervating. It annoys me. Last year, the special effects; this year, a young pretty face. That's all, once again. I'm very disappointed.

I know Sweden always put in a lot of effort and they have selected some great songs in the past. This one is not one of them. Frans does not come across as a strong performer in the mould of other Swedish artists from the past. San Marino has an older guy talking/singing and now Sweden has a younger guy talking/singing.. I can understand maybe Sweden went gaga over this, but not so sure if the rest of the world feel the same. This won’t be a hit in South Africa at all.

I am actually really underwhelmed by this. It lacks anything anthemic or memorable, it doesn't build on itself...it just kind of sits there. Meh.

I'm conflicted over this one. On first watch of the video I hated it. Pretentious and contrived, suffering from the same vocal impediment as Lena Meyer Landrut.  Repetitive and simple but with an annoyingly catchy chorus. Don't see the second place it holds in the betting but should do well for them on home territory.

This is a very good song and could give Sweden another victory, this is again a totally different song to all of the others this year and will stick out

10

Daniel

I would have preferred to have seen other songs win Melodifestivalen but this will no doubt do well for Sweden and give them another strong result. Or could go the way of Robin Stjernberg and flop on home soil.

I loved Melodifestivalen this year, and liked 11 of the 12 songs in the final. Unfortunately, the one song I didn’t like went on to win! I can see why this is popular but it really does nothing for me. It will do well though I think doing the double is unlikely, but for me, it is really not my cup of tea and I’d probably go as far to say that it’s my least favourite Swedish entry ever. Yes, even more than Las Vegas.

Well, this one seems to have divided the troops! Undoubtedly, this is a very charming song and the simplicity of the melody is easy to hook into. Maybe he could drop the slight 'mockney' edge to his vocal but other than that, this one must be in with a chance.

7

David E

Fresh, understated, relevant, charismatic. This is just a lovely wee song, beautifully delivered. Fully deserves to give the hosts a great chance of doing the double

I love this. Fresh, contemporary and simple, yet highly effective. I'm not sure it's the Eurovision winner some are heralding it, but it's a great song wherever it ends up on the scoreboard.

First time in years that I have not loved the Swedish entry. The song is good, simple and I like the lyrics. The video wall is too similar to Mans and it doesn't have the impact I want. Don't see a double win but a big radio hit!

Surely, it should be ‘If I was sorry’? This is cute, but if it was from anywhere else, it would likely be dismissed as weak. Not a winner and probably aimed at the youth market, but nothing special for me. Sorry Sweden…

Joe

This is very good. Very current and sounds as though it could be a big hit across the globe. Very simple melody, and quite catchy. Sweden look set to dominate the contest, and this could give them another victory. Although not my own favourite.

7

Mark M

It's definitely a grower but I suspect he is going to become very irritating by the time we get to May.   I think this will do very well.

Has Sweden double-bluffed us all?  Has this anti-love song, performed by a smiling teen who tells us everything he would do for his former lover if he cared enough in a sarcastic but charming way, bucked the winner's follow-up trend of AOR and Euro-pop?  We may be back in 2017...

8

Matt

Now, this is a sweet little song but it is really rather repetitive and ends up being quite dreary.  It has one of those titles which I hope won't come back to haunt him!  Not a repeat of Austria last year, but probably only mid-table.

4

Nico

This is a sweet, simple, enjoyable little song. Does it have the hook to grab in the same way as Satellite or even Kedvesem? Hmmm, not for me, especially as I think we've seen the final product already. I can envisage Sweden’s odds steadily sliding with the bookies, but I like it.

7

Sally-Ann

Hats off to the Swedes for choosing a song in such contrast to their winner last year.  A cute guy and song, lacking the immediate catchy appeal of an instant winner, but a definite nod to contemporary music.  Top ten at best, though.

6

Tristán

For the first time I can ever remember, Sweden has chosen the best of all the songs in this year's Melodifestivalen. This is a great and simple song, and will do very well. I am writing this from Spain and so far I have heard this playing in a bar and in a chemist! So it's already getting airtime outside of Sweden and this is likely to influence the votes considerably.
