I praise Armenia for bringing forth something different and unique every year! The elements of this song are so experimental and captivating while listening, but I must say, it's a tad bit forgettable after you listen to it. Nevertheless, I am excited to see this on stage!

For me this is a borderline qualifier. I don't see this doing well and Armenia may struggle with this song. It will all depend on the staging. At this point this is a mess for me and the song has no instant hook.

Oh my God I cannot believe in my ears.. what they were waiting for the Armenians…. I am so disappointed with this country. Yes yes I know it is exceptional, traditional, ethnic blah blah blah but we need more than that especially fro a very strong country like Armenia . The Armenian lobby will vote again but I don’t know about the opinions of the juries. Maybe the grand prix will not fly over the Mountain Caucasus this year

Mystic, deep, not for everyone. I just can imagine how amazing this song would be in Armenian. I also like that the song is very different from all the other entries.

'Fly With Me', the final song to be revealed is another unusual, experimental and interesting entry from Armenia . Edgy yet subtle, this mixes traditional sounds and instrumentation with contemporary production. Artsvik's vocals are smooth and jazzy. Very much a song from the Caucasus and perhaps a Jamala-esque hybrid ? It is however quite difficult as it needs to be listened to several times to fully appreciate it and is maybe too unique to win the contest but this will qualify easily. I am sure that the staging will be classy,...

This is different. I didn't like this at first, but it grew on me and now I think it's kind of cool. It's definitely not a classic ESC song and will probably not fall to everybody's liking, but I appreciate the ethnic touch. I look forward to see it live as I found the video quite cheap an distracting.

Yerevan 2018? Quite possibly. What a great entry. I absolutely love this. Fantastic song, great performance.

I'm 100% that this song will be Top 10, that will be an spectacular act with a lot of lights, customs and so on. But this sound, looks more proper to me for a song contest in India , than in Eurovision. Sorry I found it boring and even dissapointing when remembering Armenia 2016.

Well was it worth waiting for? Kind of I guess, sort of hypnotic in a witchy kind of way, will get loads of votes from the eastern block.

7

Melissa

The song is pleasant enough to listen to with very clear contemporary and cultural elements throughout. I would have liked more of a build-up or crescendo, the song just sounds like background music. Good background music that goes nowhere.

7

Octavio

Nice, good traditional song, very modern, mystical and perfect voice, and super nice music and video good work. Its perfect. With a good staging, it will qualify with no problem.

I do not dislike it. It is a very original entry from Armenia , I like the ethnic  sounds but I am not entirely sure thos will work at the Eurovision.

Pia

WOW ! This is magical and mysterious! I think ( and hope ) top 5 ! A really good performance! And the voice ! WOW !!!

Save the best for last. This can be a real contender for Kiev . Something different, finally. Original sounds, ethno-oriented and adult-contemporary melodies, it has a powerful potential. I like the dreamy/magical atmosphere. Well done Armenia

We waited forever for this but it was not worth the wait. She wears a beautiful dress (I think it that countries wear a little of their own clothing) but the song is not beautiful. It is difficult to make sense of the song, but no matter what I think this song will qualify.

A bit of ethno-jazz in this one...the best word I can use for this is "intriguing"...it makes me want to hear more, but without being overblown or too bombastic.

Song a bit boring, should not do well, but who knows, i personally not keen on it

Last but not least, Hayastan definitely kept us waiting. This is one interesting song. It might not be instantly grabbing but it’s classy and I think will have high jury appeal, and coupled with the Armenian diaspora, I think will be another solid performer for them at Eurovision. I’m very interested to see how they stage this one.

David B

Plenty of mangled English here and a not unpleasant melody, It's a bit of a grower and the lack of instantaneous spark could cost Armenia dearly. Definitely one of their better entries though.

6

Stylish, rhythmic and hypnotic. This is full of Eastern promise and delivers. If the video is representative of the stage show then this is going to do very, very well.

8

Dean

Well this is different.  Arty and almost like a Eurovision interval act, I sense this song will be a big grower.  On first hearing it is intriguing, but you’re not really sure where the song is taking you. Looking forward to seeing how this one is presented on stage.

7

Eddie

She has a decent voice and the production is great. It just feels like it doesn't go anywhere. Want more!

This is an usual fusion of styles with an ethnic character.  The theme is positive yet mysterious, full of Eastern promise!  The video showcases imaginative and creative staging potential.  All of this is welcome, and this entry could stand out.  My concern is performance; it needs a strong live vocal.

This is the type of song and performance that grabs my attention first time. Quirky, jerky, ethnic, slick and generally makes me smile. I hope to see this really high on the Saturday night.

OMG! Love it, love it, love it. Full of attitude and happy to be a little bit different. And you just know she will perform the absolute hell out of this song.

Armenia, the last entry to be released this year, colour stage performance by Artsvik with the song “Fly with Me”. Can’t see this qualifying for the final

Lloyd

This song has a bit of everything, from jazzy smooth tones to oriental sounds, this song is unlike any other in the competition, but not in a good way! Does not float my boat and this is one song I really do hope it does not qualify.

Really not sure what to make of this.  So unusual and really striking choreography.  Sailing into final - no idea how well it will do.

The power ballad queen of Depi Evratesil is going to Kyiv with...well...ummm...it's all a bit 'meh'.  It's all draws nicely on Armenian musical influences throughout and it has an interesting lyrical story but the whole is totally underwhelming - I could well believe Armenia NOT getting to the Final this year.  An interesting experiment that has just fizzled out.

5

Matt

Well it is something different again from them.  Not really my cup of tea and it doesn't for me really go anywhere.  Stlll, I think they are indeed valuing diversity within music so good for the on that.

4

Nico

You know that feeling when you're with a long time lover. It's beautiful, it feels comfortable and amazing in so many special ways, you know there's not a spark of excitement that's going to drive you wild, but it's still somehow magical. The song doesn't get to where it thrills me, but it does make me want to stay with it and want more. Kudos to Armenia for going beyond the formulaic path that many countries slip into at Eurovision for the second year in a row.

After such a long wait we were perhaps foolish to expect to end with a barnstormer.  This ethnic ballad is perfectly pleasant and a sure qualifier, like everything they enter, but not my personal cup of tea.
