It sounds like a song that was rejected from another national final, which is a pity because Timebelle has potential and great stage presence. There's nothing memorable about this, but depending on the strength of the semifinal, I wouldn't be too surprised if this ended up being a borderline qualifier.

So Switzerland wants to be back to the final. With this song they have a chance. Good singer, good song and ok stage image. They have to work on that a little bit but that can be done. I hope for a good televote score to for them.

Surprisingly good song for Switzerland this year. After a very good national final this year the country has many prospects to wave the flag in the final. Keep in mind that Europe forgets almost every year to give any points to Switzerland .

Nice try, but seriously I’ve heard this many times and I’m not happy with listening to it again and again. The singer herself is quite interesting and brings the temper to the song.

'Apollo' was the obvious winner in the Swiss selection. By far the most accomplished of the songs. Pleasant but nothing particularly memorable and the words 'plain' and 'uninspiring' spring to mind. The staging will have to be attention grabbing and plenty of work needs to be done between now and May (incl. hitting that high note).  Switzerland finished last in 2015 and 2016 in their semi-finals. I doubt this will happen in 2017 as 2 members of the group have Romanian roots and as Romania is in the same semi-final this should be an advantage. Borderline qualifier though and perhaps they have played it too safe.

A middle in the line song. The singer is ok, the song is ok but the lyrics are as written by someone with -not english - as first language, 50% cliché and 50% nonsense. On the other hand, it sticks easily on the brain and I've been humming "I'll follow you apollo" for days...extra point for the rose petals, the don't make sense to the song, but they look nice.

This is a very similar style to the UK ’s entry, and it sounds quite nice, but it definitely loses the battle as Lucie’s voice and song are stronger. It may be easily forgotten by the voting public. Timebelle’s performance delivers but the song isn’t strong enough.

This is a great chance for Swiss to return to final. The song is powerfull and well sang. In my opinion the best ballad so far in Kiev

Well Switzerland clearly don’t want to host the 2018 contest! what were they thinking? is this the best they could do?

This is a decent song that has good enough production. Unfortunately it's a little generic and doesn't really do anything different to make it stand out. Timebelle, whilst she's hitting her notes and does have decent singing skills, has a far too delicate voice for a song like this - it's quite the mismatch.

This song is very catchy and also very contemporary and nice performance, even though you might want to change some things. But a nice song simply isn't enough. I do like it but not likely that they will make it to the final.

Not bad, not good but it sounds like so many past Eurovision songs.

We have heard these ballads so many time, I even don't remember the melody .....

Good ballad, a bit predictable but overall agreeable. I liked its vaguely retro chorus and its adult-contemporary trend. Not so bad.

I saw the best comment on this one from somebody who said “this song was made for a competition, just do not know if it was aimed at the Eurovision competition”. This song needs to be visually presented like an Apollo space ship on stage and the female singer crawling out of it. I was told she is Romanian and so if both Switzerland and Romania make the final, it could get high points from Romania . Without a good presentation, this could again end last in its semi final.

Would I have preferred "Singing About Love"? Of course. We've got another female-led ballad, but this lacks the epic feel of Georgia and Albania , the delicate emotions of Finland , or the theatricality of the UK . It's a valiant effort, but it may take a revamp or some major staging to get this to a Final.

Nothing new here, another song i seem to of heard before, song is boring and goes nowhere, another one that will get lost.

Switzerland will be hoping not to be last in the semi final for three years in a row, and the signs are mixed at the moment. It’s nice but I’m not quite sure who would vote for it.

The Swiss are nothing if not consistent. Consistently dull that is. This is straight from the 'Colour Me Beige' school of pop. Three minutes of joyless, derivative dross. There's nothing pleasurable about this achingly moribund effort. Music for people who don't like music.

This has a simple charm for me and I liked the presentation of the song in their final.  I don’t see it as another last place for Switzerland , and it could even qualify!

The Swiss final was weak, and this really was the only choice.  I quite like the song, and it’s a grower, but is it memorable on first listen to stand out?  Sadly I think not.  I’d be happy for this to qualify, but I think they will struggle.

Eddie

Good modern pop song, she's got a good voice. A definite qualifier for me, as long as the staging is good. It's missing that certain something but still a good song.

Maybe this is a contemporary sound, but I don’t understand why Timebelle is singing about a Greek deity.  Added to this, the song does not go anywhere and is rather forgettable.  While it’s a perfectly decent performance, I fear no one will have an active reason to vote for this.

This feels like it is becoming a new Eurovision style... Solid, well produced and well-sung, it is however also unremarkable and leaves me a little cold. I think it will probably qualify though, but its too generic for my liking.

I liked this from very first listen. Very pleasant but never a winner. Like most Swiss entries

4

Kevin

Standard entry from Switzerland this year with a song called “Apollo” nothing much happens on stage during the performance, just a singer and microphone. Powerful at times, this entry may be lucky and qualify for the final on 13-May

5

Lloyd

A contemporary song with a light, breezy vibe with a powerful chorus. Although I like the song I fear it will not be a memorable one.

7

Mark M

I have no idea what this song is about.  The lyrics are nonsensical and it looks cheap and dated.  Not qualifying.

Martin

Miruna gave a powerful vocal, a passionate delivery and looked amazing at the Swiss NF but the slow, methodical pulse of the music and the eternity it takes for the song itself to build up to the climax might mean that Switzerland spend yet another year out of the Eurovision Final.

A classic case of 'good in studio but bad live'.  Quite an anthemic tune although I'm not sure about the lyric?  The live performance is rather painful and in some places I don't know what she is singing.

4

Nico

I still listen to their wonderful Singing About Love, totally robbed, this is good, though not as great. Strength wise it's about on a par with last year's Czech song, but this is already a much stronger year so may find qualifying tough. Good song though.

Sally-Ann

I'd heard bad things about this song before I listened for myself, and was pleasantly surprised.  It's an easy-on-the-ear ballad with decent structure and vocals.  One of the best chosen for 2017 so far.
