This
is a weak francs pop song. She isn't that good live so this will not help
either. I think this is a weak copy of last year’s song. |

Not my style but the song itself is nice, but nothing outstanding. What I like about it is typical French sound. Thanks god it’s not Swedish nor American so nice job overall. Diversity it is! And another good point it’s not a ballad. |

Alma will need to be note perfect as 'Requiem' could easily sound out of tune and a lot will depend on the live performance but this poetic and dreamlike song really draws you in and has a very French DNA to it. Catchy, fresh, happy and free spirited but with a certain sophistication and a definite Stromae vibe ... Perhaps not the winner but this is lovely and something very different to the dark ballads already selected. |

A
pop song with a definite French flavour and a Latin feel. |

Alma is a charming performer, that's a good beginning. What I like of this song is that is a pop one can perfectly identify like a french pop one. I don't see this winning but can avoid the typical last places for the Big 5. |

I like the North African influences of this song which is definitely better than average, but just needs to go to the next level to really grab my interest |

The song is awesome – the
production is top-notch and the disjointed chorus sounds like what Hot
Chip and Stromae would do if they worked together. But I’ve also seen
live footage of this song and it’s a failure. She looks totally
uncomfortable on stage and the song goes nowhere. A great song to nod
along to in the car, but hard to imagine how this will look like in |

Simply adorable. I love the beat, her voice is lovely and It’s a catchy, fresh and happy song. This song reminds me a mix between Stromae and indila, it's very French. France are on target to be the highest scoring top 5 country this year, of course it all depend on performance and revamp but we have a solid base. |

A nice and modern song. I like it, it's something
different from what we are use at the Eurovision. And |

This is one of the best so far. I really hope she `s top 5 in Kyiv. She has a wonderful soft voice ! |

In the footsteps of French music star Indila, a very nice song, passionate, fiery, endearing. That typical 'French touch' that never degenerates into trifling, nor into pathetic. Very good one. |

French TV surprised us, when all eyes and ears were on Germany, they made
the song available. It is nice and catchy and again it is the video that
makes it more special, seeing different places in |

Light, sweet, bouncy, a little quirky...just the thing I'd love to listen to while sipping a latte and reading a book in a sunny cafe. Whether it lights up the scoreboard or not may depend on presentation, but this has loads of artistic merit. 7.5 |

Good quality song, good voice and a nice little uptempo number, hope this does well, as I believe it`s good standard. |

This is VERY French, modern and different. I’m
a little worried about how this will come across on stage but kudos to |

On first hearing I immediately loved it. On second hearing, not quite so
much. Then I heard the live version. There are echoes of Stromae in the
song and I think much boils down to whether she has the capacity to
deliver on the night. A good entry from |

I really wanted to like this more than I do. It seems quite earnest, and it’s certainly very modern, but for me - after half a dozen hearings - it’s just “alright”. |

This is good, but, for me it's much of a grower. On the first few hearings I wasn't drawn in. But now I've heard it a few times I'm liking it more and more. But I sense this will not hit the heights that Amir did in 2016. |

A good old French pop
song with a dance/tango twist. Charming and I hope staging is affective.
Good choice |

This is right up my rue! The best entries say something about their
country. A swarthy, atmospheric ethnic ballad set in |

A catchy, fun and easy sound from la belle France with added eastern
promise. I get a very positive feeling from this song and its apparently
sweet singer. This should do very well for |

A current cool French pop song with a quality that makes me want to listen to it more. It's off beat, exciting and modern with a captivating melody. Only concern I have is that the song does not have that punch moment to blow you away. |

It's really, really French. For me, not as instant as last year's entry and I don't think it will do that well. |

"Requiem" is
an extremely catchy piece of Europop, the rhythm of which thumps away
throughout. |

Quite 'Turkish' in feel. Not awful but equally not memorable. |

Modern, fresh French pop. It has a rather flirtatious liberté to it, which really evokes the romantic notions of France. Whether the masses will get it will largely depends on whether they can stage this this significantly better than their winning entry last year that they seem to have deliberately sabotaged. Somehow it reminds me of Il me Donne Rendezvous, and I'm hoping it will surprise me with a similarly high placing, but then that 4th place was based solely on juries.... |

With more than a nod to its Turkish influence, this is a richly-layered song in total contrast to its hugely successful predecessor. It's really interesting to listen to and never grows stale. |
