This is interesting to say the least. The song and staging are much different from anything else we've seen so far, and I can appreciate that! I just don't see this making a huge impact on the scoreboard in Kiev (especially after Justs only managing to reach 15th)

This song is a mess. Its uptempo, loud, creepy and very colorful. It is like I'm drinking a coup of cafe not with one sugar its like I'm drinking with 7 sugar. Its to much going on that's why I think it will floop. Sorry Latvia after 2 good songs this is just not working.

One of the countries that I don't like it's entries is Latvia . This year we have an exception. The song is a kind of a re-make of "Euphoria" but it is a nice song. I like her on stage, her style, her movements and finally a proposal. I am sure that in this year's Euroclub this will be a smash hit. They declared that they tried so many times to represent Latvia but... this is the right "time". So here they are....(

I like the idea, but the intermediate result is not perfect yet. I like mix of electronic sound with pop-dance music, it reminds me of some Melodifestivslen’s entries in a good way. And of course I like staging – it brings the right atmosphere.

Once again Latvia  serves us something very different. 'Line' is a catchy, punchy EDM (Electronic Dance Music) song with great energy. A tough one to call as it is from a genre we haven't experienced much in the ESC and there is more focus on the rhythm and beat rather than the vocals and the lyrics (that are too repetitive). Speaking of vocals, Agnese needs to tighten hers up a lot before May. Colourful image and very edgy. This is perhaps not the strongest entry ever and it will not be for everybody but with the necessary work it should be enough to earn  Triana Park  a place in the final.

The grayest acid trip ever.  The music, I guess is trying to be some sort of dance techno but the singer tries to sing like Sia, but fails. It's flat and feels very impersonal. Very wanna be club kids. And I'm sure I've heard this song before! I don't get it at all...

This is quite a cool song and it’s rather uptempo in a very ballad-y year. Even though I find the voice slightly annoying I quite like this. Latvia may get to the final with this.

I appreciate Latvia stop sending the worst songs like they did 3 or 4 years ago. This is not the best song in ESC but the best they had. This Pop Cyber Punk it's at least modern and visually estimulating. Good luck Latvia

Oh My word! this is a mess. it looks promising but sounds awful! are my ears bleeding?

Well I'm not a fan of the vocal stylings, but this is a great addition to this year's ESC lineup! Very current and very similar to what we hear on the radio at the moment. It looks great on stage too. I can see this not being to everyone's taste though.

Great choice, It's a catchy track however the vocals are VERY weak and underwhelming for this type of song. It’s more refreshing than amazing. It’s definitely different and stands out but it’s not a very strong song. But not a winner.

I quite like it. It's different, some electronic sounds will do some good this year. The staging is very nice, catchy, original. Saying that, I'm not convinced this will do well in May.

Disco for teenagers or drogusers ....blaa. NO NO NO

Manga-alike, cyberpunk-pop tune. A hasty entry, rather obsessive; contemporary rhythms and a hint of eccentricity. But it doesn't seem enough. It must be less static and more punchy.

I see the Latvian group have tried several times and finally get to go to Eurovision, but I would have preferred them to fail – the song does nothing to me.

"Line" makes me wish that I had purchased tickets to the show in Kyiv, since I'd love to be dancing in the middle of the fan zone when this comes on! Her vocals aren't great live, but I appreciate this hypnotic entry

rather funky and a catchy tune, this will get remembered and it is very modern

Latvia have been on an bit of a roll the past two years and it's nice to see them think out of the box again with this electro/rock track. The vocals are a little weak though and I am not use that this will have widespread appeal but I am glad it's shaking things up a bit.

An uptempo yet downbeat song that I've been listening to  for a few weeks. The live performance wasn't so hot though which is a pity and may consign it to non-qualifying status. For now, I'm enjoying it's jaunty misery.

I imagine this kind of thing may go down well in a dimply lit backroom in a Berlin leather bar, but it’s a bit too post-industrial steam-punk for my tastes. Borderline qualifier.

Hooray! Something upbeat. This certainly isn’t bad, but it’s not going to set the world on fire either. Generic, modern pop. It’s ok, but we need better!

Eddie

Although it reminds me of being in a club in the 90s, it's a good song. It stands out compared to those already picked. It is memorable so should see them into the final. Love her clothes!

7

Edward

Finally some club dance!  Yes retro, but it ticks the boxes – minor key, urban, exciting and gritty.  My worry is the live performance, and how you get it across on a huge stage (as opposed to a sweaty underground venue).  Good start with the wind machine and graffiti walls though!

First listen, not impressed, Second listen, sounds better. I like it and I don’t like it. The image is not right for the song, from my perspective, but that can change. This has potential, but I am not sure it is instant enough.

Love this genre of music and they know how to work an audience. The best uptempo song this year.

Electro meets pop! This performance stood out at Supernova this year.  I see it as a perfect show closer, I really hope the public get behind this song, and don’t forget your glow sticks out, I’m not sure if the juries will go for this, however, if the voting remains the same as last year I think we may have another Poland this year, where Michel Szpak basically flat-lined with the jury votes, but was love by the public; let’s see what happens

Glow sticks at the ready?? Yes!!! Thankful not another Ballard. "Line" is an electro pop meets hip hop song that will give you an opportunity to have a bit of a bop.

Don't like this at all either.  No idea what they're on about and just not my cup of tea.

There will be nothing visually more contemporary than Triana Park in Kyiv but "Line" relies heavily on Agnese's vocals to make this a hit.  I have heard one live 'car crash' and one live 'masterclass' - the band's amazingly energetic gig performance will not  be enough to save this if the singing goes bad...

The music is interesting but I find her voice annoying. Ultimately it has lots of promise but currently doesn't really get going.

Nico

Great energy, spanking dance track. The staging needs quite a bit of work though to entice the Euro viewers.

Obviously taking inspiration from last year's sublime Bulgarian success, this has all the makings of a very cool club record, but is incredibly badly sung.  It stands out though in a field of mediocrity.
