As much as I want to love this, I can only say that I like it. The harmonies are amazing, but the song and video are so early 2000s girl-band. The message is really uplifting and the song is very pleasant, but I expected something more modern.

I like this song. It has a good vibe and if they are good live this can qualify to the grand final. Still I think it has not much of originality, but the song has good melody and the singers are very fresh vocally.

Well, what’s the meaning of the Dutch song this year. Wilson Philips .. are still alive. It is a soul or a gospel song. Where is the start and where is the end of that song. Sometimes I love the Dutch efforts to conquer the contest but this year I am against this try. I would love to hear the news “The Netherlands have changed their song” but it is too good too be true. Not at the final night, I am convinced that it will be the last in line at the semi final….Good luck you will need it.

I do like pop music of late 90s and early 00s! But this song wouldn’t have been a big hit even 15 years ago, it’s quite ordinary song without any gimmick. Nice to hear, but no votes from me.

This ticks a lot of Eurovision boxes (bombastic, builds up, double modulation). There is a gospel feel to the song and that gives it some power, however on first hearing it was underwhelming and without an instant hook. Intricate as it clearly is, it is almost as though they are trying too hard. There are almost no repeats and every second sounds different making it hard to remember. OG3NE are all about their vocals and their amazing harmonies and live they will sound fantastic but this is a borderline qualifier and far from a winner. Style and class in abundance though and a simple but effective video.

Very modern disney channel. These ladies are amazing, can't deny that. But I'd like to hear the sing something else.  The song is very bland and doesn't stick at all for me. It is all very pretty, but just pretty doesn't cut it for me.

I am with every other Eurovision fan who cannot not think of the Wilson Phillips when listening to this. The type of song and the harmonies are indeed reminiscent of them. However this is not a strong song. I just want to song to end, not really enjoying it.

A sweet ballad, the ladies have charm, I fear, not much eurofans will appreciate this sweet ballad, when we have so much ballads, and people seems to be interested on freaky shows. Good look to this 3 sweet ladies!

pleasant song but will it qualify for the final? I am sorry to say no. Would love to see holland win but not this year

5

Melissa

I don't mind this! The girls sound gorgeous in harmony with each other, and whilst I think the track has been over-mixed it's not a bad effort. Hopefully it won't be too forgettable on the night.

To be honest, this song (if you listen to the melody) will do very well in eurovision. The message is beautiful and their harmonizing is flawless. They're great singers.

Very nice, harmonized voices. They are very pleasant to listen to, very sweet.

A song there it is 13 on a dozen ....Sorry , but NO .....

An interesting entry from the Netherlands . An evocative blend of voices, a bit dated, but nice and pleasant. They remember the American vocal group Wilson Phillips a lot, and this could stir a lack of originality and/or a perception of something outdated and faded. We have to focus on their vocal skills and on the ballad itself. Overall very good.

I see some say the female equivalent of DE TOPPERS. well I had their song first in 2009 and this is quite good, although I thought there was too much shadows and not enough lights. It is similar to their2016 song and I foresee a similar position on the scoreboard.

Immediate hook, stunning harmonies, strong message...a bit dated, but who didn't like Wilson Phillips back in the day?

reminds me of Wilson Philips, but great vocal, not bad song, should definitely make the final

This is a nice little throwback to Wilson Phillips. The song doesn't rewrite history but it has a niece story about their very ill mother. Their harmonies are INSANE and having seen a live performance of this, the juries are going to LOVE this and I think it could be one to watch. Top 10, I think, at least.

Like most people, I'm also reminded of those early 1990s Wilson Phillips hits. The blend of vocals here is really nice but at the end of three minutes I'd completely forgotten the melody. There's no real hook which could be the song's downfall. By no means awful, just unremarkable.

So what if this is Wilson Phillips 27 years later? - it’s still fab! Modern country is current and fresh and if the ladies can carry off the harmonies of the studio version then they are on their way to a credible Top 10 placing.

An American sounding entry, reminiscent of the output of 1990s group, Wilson Phillips.  This is pretty good and I expect the performance will be very strong.  A qualifier.

Wilson Philips from the Dutch. It a little old fashioned but the harmonies are outstanding. Such a feel good song with a key change. Stands out as being different.

7

Edward

This is a well composed entry with a good sentiment.  Great key change but this highlights the fact that the song is somewhat dated.  I have no doubt that they will be able to pull off the performance and the theme has room for innovative staging, but I wanted more!

Gary

It feels as if this is trying to be sophisticated, but it somehow comes across as forced. The title doesn’t quite fit in the lyrics and all I can hear is Wilson Phillips which makes it sound very dated. I expect a professional delivery on stage, but I can’t really see this standing out.  I have been proved wrong on that score before though.

Love the harmonies and they look amazing. The song isn't exactly an ear worm though, it's missing a bit of a spark.

I have no idea how to pronounce this bands name! Girl band O’G3NE represented the Netherlands in Junior Eurovision 2007, and were the winners of season 5 on the Voice Holland in 2014.  This song is well presented by the 3 sisters, which you would expect from a well-established group

5

Lloyd

Reminds me of the band Wilson Phillips, it has strong harmonies and builds well. Overall a generally nice song, but nothing special.

7

Mark M

Very Wilson Phillips!  It's ok - not as good as the Netherlands ' recent efforts and I don't think it's strong enough to qualify.

5

Martin

We will be hearing some of the best harmonies for years when OG3NE start singing in Kyiv - the Vol sisters are bringing yet another 'Netherlands dark horse' Eurovision entry with this wonderfully evocative and emotive song that has amazing vocals and even a crowd participation clapping section.  A possible winner for me...

I love this!  Wonderful harmonies and an uplifting song.  It reminds me of Wilson Philips whom I loved.  This is different and, for that alone, I hope this will do well.

9

Nico

What wonderful voices and harmonies. These girls deserve a much more than a meandering, dated ditty that doesn't truly reach any heights. The live version though certainly adds light and shade to it, but i can't help feeling the Netherlands have taken a step backwards. Still it's not unpleasant.

Now I really like this smooth, harmonious ballad on record.  It hasn't got the most memorable tune, but it's easy on the ear and the three sisters are easy on the eye.  It is apparently a tribute to their mum who has terminal cancer, so real meaning there too.
