I'm getting "Walk on Water" vibes from this one! Another example of an entry where I was expecting a little more from after hearing the preview, but I'm definitely not underwhelmed. I think this will look great on stage!

Balkans our going very west style but it is just bland and has no flavour. I cant see this doing well. The singer is female again and a good performer but the song is just average.

This year it is for real.. Serbia is into deep … there is no doubt about it.  Sorry my brothers from Serbia , but I really wonder how many prospects for a win you have with this song. Hmm maybe you must keep the guy with the abs on stage. I have loved the Serbian entries in the past but I feel so disappointed this year. The song is not bad but the bad thing is that that it is not good…

Not the best attempt to send modern European pop tune. Nothing new, nothing to remember, nothing to like, nothing to dislike. Absolutely mediocre.

There is more than a hint of Katy Perry's 'Firework' here and a nod in the direction of Ira's 'WOW'. 'In Too Deep' is a slice of modern pop music, solidly done, very safe but unfortunately void of originality and it will be interesting to see how Tijana performs this live. This is the 3rd song written by Borislav Milanov and Joacim Persson in the contest this year and for me the weakest link. The little ethnic twist in the arrangement is nice but the staging of this in Kyiv will have to be nothing short of excellent to bring this anywhere near the top 15.

Another early 2000 euro dance song! Even though this song is one of a few dance songs this year, it stands out at least a little bit! It will need quite some energy on stage, but the song in itself is pretty good. Another song I can dance to this summer!

I have mixed feelings about this song. I really love some parts of it, and the beat is great, but other parts are somewhat repetitive and banal. All in all though, it is a good listen.

I usually dislike the very traditional sound on Serbian songs, now I like this modern song, the shame is that sounds like several other songs this year, according to the visual elements on the official video, we can expect a great show for this lovely song in Kiev

This song is ok I suppose, just feel like it is nothing new at all, I have heard this type of song at ESC so many times. Time for a change

Flawless! The vocals and production are amazing, the middle eight is just right. The video is great too! Despite having dance elements its not really a dance floor filler, but this has so much potential to look great on camera where it really counts.

An absolute quality song, high-end production. Song is so catchy. This song is really powerful and strong. This is one of those songs that sound better and better each time you listen to it.

That's a great entry for Serbia . I really like the tune, the atmosphere around it. This will no doubt do good in Kiev .

Again a "Loreencopy " That was 2012 .....It´s not bad, but hey ! I want something new .....

6

Roberto

Not so bad, but the first impression is of a song that wants to say something but goes nowhere. Something is missing in it. A classy trend with some soulless moments.

6

Roy

Believe it is the same team that worked on Bulgaria 2016 but although it it not bad, it does not stand out for me in any way.

6

Samantha

Another solid upbeat entry, with a bit of a Katy Perry flair...and is that an "Amen Break" I hear? Borislav Milanov and his team really went three for three this year. Not quite as catchy as Macedonia or evocative as Bulgaria , but really rather good.

Rather good, but will it stick out, sounds in some parts as some of the others, good voice, most probably will make the final

Another fantastic production on this one, modern, radio-friendly and sung well. I can see this one being absolutely loved by the juries but might suffer the same fate as the Maltese entry last year, but I think Serbia’s diaspora might help them do a little better. Definitely one that I will keep on my Spotify playlist!

2017's Battle of the Bland continues and now it's Serbia 's turn to wave the beige flag. Lyrically it's abysmal and while the tune is not too bad, the whole thing is 'production line'. This song could be from anywhere. I'm guessing, ' Sweden '.

Balkan angst with a contemporary twist.  The former Yugoslav nations have certainly raised their game this year.  Another worthy finalist from our winning nation from 10 years ago.

On hearing the teaser, I had high hopes for this, and it’s not bad, but the hook just isn’t strong enough for me.  A lot of this year’s songs are really moulding into one.  It’s all very well being modern and well produced, but people need to remember your song.  This is fine, but I was expecting more.

Eddie

Great modern track with a great voice. Love the slight ethnic touches to the track. Hope it's great live. Could do very well

7

Edward

I had hopes for this, but it ultimately disappoints.  It’s a bit generic and sits in that mid-tempo zone where it is hard to excite.  Yes, the theme gives room for imaginative staging and I am sure the performance will be strong, but I struggle to see this standing out.

So Serbia falls for the Swedish influence too. This is getting utterly boring. Sorry, I’m just just left generically disappointed. Maybe they should have released it earlier, not on the day that Sweden decides and the day after MK did with something similar.  Bring back Željko Joksimović!

Joe

this has a great melody and it oozes confidence and attitude. I can really get behind this.

Kevin

Serbia returns to Eurovision 2017 with a standard easy to listen to number called" in too deep" performed by Tijan Bogicevic, I like this, a ballad with attitude

6

Lloyd

Strong performance with positive energy, and love the range in the voice. Will require a great production and staging to bring it all to life.

The start of this song is exactly the same as another song but I can't quite put my finger on it.  Nice singer and it's an ok song but not really my cup of tea.

5

Martin

"Cause baby you're a firework"....oh, not that one?  It might been in there as "In Too Deep" sounds like so many other songs all in one package, continually changing up pace up and down throughout, becoming another genre of song for thirty seconds and then onto the next.  Such a ball of confusion...

6

Matt

The 'manic seagull' sounding opening aside, this isn't too bad.  Has quite an uplifting feel to it and is quite dancy too. It perhaps get a little bit too repetitive though.

6

Nico

A good song that they could have drum 'n based up a little more in the chorus to make it even better. Nice that they at least added a little local flavour to it.

7

Sally-Ann

A genetic and ultimately boring song from Serbia that is neither ballad nor mid-tempo.  Another to be marked both "Qualify" and "Skip".
