*Yawns*. BQL was much better. This song will so easily be forgotten.

I don't know why but i like this song. I know it is old fashion but it builds and the singer is great. I don't know how it will do in the contest but I think it will be close to qualify. Good luck Slovenia .

Welcome back to Kiev Omar, after 12 years. We all agree that the song "stop" were an amazing song and undoubtedtly he made a fantastic performence then. Omar's come back touched our souls and sent Slovenia at the top 3 of each and every fan's top. Except the fact that I don't trust the jury crisis at all, Slovenia is a country with few friends and many lovers. Go Go Omar we, the real eurovision fans, we adore you!

Welcome to 00s, it’s Omar Naber again. Omar’s voice and song itself match up well, but in my opinion it’s a bit boring ballad, I feel something missing to make it a perfect one.

Omar Naber returns to Kyiv 12 years after failing to qualify with the song 'Stop'. 'On My Way', his entry in 2017 has a very strong melody, is warm, soothing, uplifting and soaring. Stunningly and perhaps even more importantly sincerely performed, Omar has the voice, the experience and when he hits the chorus it raises things to a whole new level. A key change near the end of the song only adds to the power. It can be argued that this is dated, somewhat generic and that the lyrics are cliché-ridden however I prefer to think of it as timeless. A winner for Slovenia ? No, but hopefully a finalist.

I don't remember Omar Naber from 2005, and I probably won't remember him after this competition either. The song sounds like from a 90's musical, and not a very interesting one. Very forgettable, even though his voice is very good.

I don’t really like this song. It’s repetitive and sounds like I’ve heard the same thing before a million times. Not keen on the ‘yeh yeh yeh’ either. It goes nowhere. Not even the final.

José

Omar sings well, the ei ei ei sond in the chorus are disturbing, so repetitive, and I must say I found this boring

6

Mark L

Well if it was based on voice alone this would be hard to beat, His voice is beautiful. Song is a bit old fashioned but still think it will make the final

Melissa

This song sounds like it belongs in the 90's! Omar has an OK voice, and it's good to see that he wrote this himself, but this song is just really weak against the competition. And sack that stylist!

4

Octavio

I like it. Good singer and nice voice power ballad. Omar always made songs with good rythm and excellent lyrics..

5

Not the best ballad but Omar really has a nice voice. It sounds like a typical Eurovision ballad from the nineties to me. There is much to do in staging and outfit.

this is kind a music I like ! He has a strong voice and the melody is just what I like !

Omar Naber will represent Slovenia again next May. It's a bit predictable, dated song but there's no problem with it. Is this another case when "the name" goes " before the song"? I don't know it, honestly. It's a classic but ordinary ballad, definitely retro but interesting ... well, a bit.

I am on my way to Kyiv (again) and this time I will not STOP until I reach a top 5 placing. I think Omar has matured a lot since 2005 and I think he could get Slovenia a very good result. I think the song is quite powerful and although I see some say it is boring and out-dated, certain kind of songs remain classics.

Omar's an engaging performer, but his live vocals during the NF didn't do much to convince me. Song feels dated, to be honest...like a minor song from a forgotten musical from the late 1980s.

This one not bad, not instant like, but it can grow on you, he has a good voice

There is no denying that Omar is a fantastic singer. The problem with this song is that it is very dated and just a little bit clichéd. The juries might like this but I can't see it doing well in the televoting and I think Omar will be the second person to fail to qualify from a semi-final twice!

This is an achingly old fashioned Euro ballad by numbers - and I love it! Omar plays it by the book and it's a refreshing taste of old Eurovision. Hopefully this will sail into the final and admittedly, I'd sooner listen to this kind of song than some of the dreary shades of beige being offered up (yes Switzerland - I'm looking at you!)

I’m a sucker for a big Broadway show tune and you can smell the greasepaint a mile off on this cracking wee tune. I really hope this makes the final. If not then there’s always London ’s West End

I quite like this, in a very old-fashioned way.  It really feels like it needs an orchestra!  I like Omar’s voice, but this song stretches him fully.  Borderline qualifier.

7

Eddie

Sounds like an X factor winner songs with touches of musical theatre. It builds nicely but his stage presence is cold. It's nice and finally a key change!

Unlike 2005, Omar’s present entry lacks strength and does not grab the attention.  What we have is the “quest” song from a musical.  I love a good key change, but it feels a bit dated and tired.  That said, solo male ballads are less common so it may stand out.

Gary

This has a certain class, with an understated performance. It is a little dated for sure, but his delivery is impressive and the structure of the song works well - I can see it picking up a good number of votes in Kyiv. It is certainly one of the better ballads selected so far, but the yeah-yeah bit could be a bit more imaginative. All told,  I like it.

To me it sounds like a dated throw-away boy band song. He sings it well and looks good, but not a contender.

Kevin

Omar won the Slovenian version of Battle of the Talents (similar to the UK Britain ’s got Talent) and is no stranger to Eurovision, incidentally Omar represented his country back in 2005 at Kyiv; sadly he didn’t qualify coming 12th in the first semi-final.  I believe we will have a comparable result this year as this song will be forgotten with some of the big ballad voices we have this year

Lloyd

A peaceful old fashioned ballad with Omar giving a confident performance with a very good vocal quality. For me it is a pleasant song but does not excite me.

6

Mark M

Nowhere near as good as "Stop".  Omar's voice is great but Slovenia needs a much better song than this to qualify for the final.

4

Martin

As a male vocalist in Kyiv, Omar should stand out a mile with whatever he was singing but this uninspiring slow paced ballad, despite being sung really well, is totally forgettable almost bar by bar as this entry crawls towards the three minute mark.  A definite early exit for Slovenia this year.

I love this.  Ok, it is quite 'old school' and 'Eurovision-esque' but I don't mind.  It has quite an uplifting appeal to it and, of course, I like a dramatic big end!

10

Nico

Good to see him back, sadly he has had many better songs in EMA, but this is not bad, pleasant enough, in a heard it all before kinda way. Great singer though, so hope he can sell it for Slovenia .

Close your eyes and this could be a Barry Manilow or Michael Bolton track from the 90s, but who cares that it's the most out-dated song in the contest?  It's still a pretty lovely slice of old-fashioned pop balladry and Lord knows we need some proper melody and key-change this year.  Love it.
