EUROVISION 2018
LISBON - PORTUGAL
UNITED KINGDOM FINAL
On February 7th, 6 songs will battle it out for the votes of an expert Jury, together with viewer televoting in 'Eurovision - You Decide' (EYD). The hosts will be TV-host Mel Giedroyc with Eurovision 2015 winner (and 2016 Presenter) Måns Zelmerlöw, adding an international flavour. The show was sold out in less than a day and is the second biggest Eurovision event to be held at the venue. The biggest of course was the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest final, won by Eurovision's biggest winners, Abba. Its a shame that the BBC didn't wait 2 days, because February 9th is the date that Abba won Sweden's national final in 1974 that ended up with victory at Eurovision. 24/01/17 UPDATE - 6 songs will compete in Brighton. ASANDA - Legends GOLDSTONE - I Feel The Love JAZ ELLINGTON - You LIAM TAMNE - Astronaut RAYA - Crazy WINNER *** SURIE - Storm *** WINNER Check them out on the BBC Eurovision website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05vxlch SECHUK.COM is based in Brighton and will be happy to answer any queries that those coming to EYD might have. SECHUK.COM contacted the Dome about the plaque being made visible for fans on February 7th (currently covered due to building work). The Dome advises that that they hope to display another copy of the plaque inside the venue, so look out for it ...
