Alkistis Protopsalti has been an exciting presence for more than twenty five years. Thirty three records most of which are gold or platinum. Over 6.500 in Greece and all over the world culminating in her appearance at the City Center of New York.

Unique successes, new suggestions to the Greek music scene, originally and passion in her interpretation, and respect towards her public are only some of the qualities of Alkistis Protopsalti’s significant journey.

In 1975 her first record comes out and by the mid 1980’s she has already worked with top Greek composers.

In 1985 Alkistis Protopsalti met the composer Stamatis Kraounakis and the lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou. This meeting turned things upside down in Greek music.

In the early 1990’s Alkistis Protopsalti proposed to the Yugoslavian composer Goran Bregovic to turn his “Time of the Gypsies” into a Greek record.

In September 1997, Alkistis Protopsalti cooperated for the first time with the composer Nikos Antypas.Lina Nikolakopoulou wrote the lyrics and the record “San ifestio pou xypna” (Like an awakening volcano) becomes a fact. This was the most expensive production ever made in Greece,with the participation of the Prague Philarmonic Orchestra, and Mario Clemens conducting.

In March of 2000 she is recording her new CD “Universe spheres” again in PLUX XXX studios in Paris with Nikos Antypas and Lina Nikolakopoulou - and she is doing another tour abroad with her best songs. New CD “To see you smile”, that was mastered in New York, is out.

When Ylenia's family was fed up with little Ylenia’s constant shouting and screaming all over the house, parents decided to take a three-year-old Ylenia to the choir of children Venturini near Domje in 1989. The conductor of the choir soon noticed her talent and a strong voice, therefore she suggested participation at the international Italian music festival for children Gold coin in Bologna. Ylenia managed to qualify for the festival when she was only 7 years old. This was one of the crucial moments for the beginning of her music career. In the following years she started to collaborate with the Slovene composers and competed at various festivals for children and teenagers, such as Melodije Morja in Sonca (MMS - Festival of the sea and the sun), which she rarely left with not having had won an award either for her amazing singing or the song itself. In her early teens she was already known as a real teen star. The success from her young age gave her a strength and a confidence to enter the real festivals for grown-ups. She was only 15 years old when she for the first time performed at the real MMS.

In the following years she also performed at the festival "Slovenska popevka", Hit festival and in 2004 at EMA. Ylenia also won many awards at the festivals outside Slovenia, in Italy and in Romania. Her popularity is rapidly increasing here in Slovenia, which has resulted in releasing her debut album - Živim (I live) in March this year.

With the song 'Samo' (Only) Ylenia performed at Slovenska popevka 2004. Yet again she impressed the audience and the jury, which gave Ylenia the award for the best performer and chose her song 'Samo' as the best song of the festival. The audience put her on the second place at the televoting.

Lena Philipsson, also known as Lena Ph was born on January 19, 1966 in the town of Vetlanda in southern Sweden. After having started performing locally and taken part in the talent competition Nya Ansikten (New Faces) she had her first single “Boy” released in 1984. But it wasn’t until 1986 that she became a household name after coming second in Melodifestivalen with “Kärleken är evig” (Love is eternal). Two consecutive appearances in the very same contest followed with “Dansa i neon” (Dancing in the neon-light) in 1987 and “Om igen” (Once again) in 1988, coming fifth and second respectively. In 1991 and 1999 she entered the contest as a songwriter for Pernilla Wahlgren and Arvingarna. Finally, in 2004 it was time for her to win with “Det gör ont” (It hurts), which went on to become sixth in Istanbul. Lena’s career has seen the release of several albums in range of different styles. Her latest album from 2004 “Det gör ont en stund på natten men inte på dan” with all songs written by fellow artist colleague Thomas Eriksson aka Orup still produces hit singles a year after its release. “Delirium” was the follow up single to “Det gör ont” and was a major hit in the autumn of 2004. Alessia Aquilani aka Alexia was born on 19th of May 1967 in La Spezia, Italy. She is one of the most appreciated Italian singer, selling up to more than 5.000.000 copies worldwide. Alexia's first solo record was a single called ”Me And You” (in -95) followed by her huge international hits “Summer Is Crazy” (released in -96) and “Uh La La La” (-97), which all entered the European and UK Single Chart reaching the Top 5. At the Beginning of the 2000s Alexia started to sing mainly in Italian. Also her style changed to even more soul, blues and r'n'b. This style is absolutely very well combinated with her sweet strong voice. She is also a very skilful songwriter.  She gets ideas for  her songs from her life and feelings among many other things. Refrain				The members of the group Erato are Dalal Midhat and Aida Jašarević. Erato was formed in 1999, and the first public appearance by this popular duo was at DJ Bobo’s concert in Sarajevo in 2000. In the following years, Erato became a well-known name in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with quite a few hits that have topped the national charts. Together with a rapper Dr. Zo, Erato won this year’s Bosanskohercegovački Radiotelevizijski Festival (BHRTF). The song has become a major hit in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the girls are certainly one of Bosnia’s more refreshing young artists.
