SECOND CHANCE RETRO / GUEST JURY HITS 1971

July 2018 47 years later ... it's 1971 and we are not in Dublin, but the music from 1971 is still here for us. To the left are the songs of Eurovision 1971 and below are the songs of Retro 1971 and Guest Jury Hits (GJH) 1971. RETRO - Songs from Eurovision National Finals (public or internal to TV stations) of 1971 - getting a second chance at glory, selected by OGAE Clubs. GJH - Hit songs from 1971 from countries that did not have a national final for ESC71 - a chance to hear and vote on other music from the year - also selected by OGAE Clubs. 2 Contests - 2 Winners - a retrospective European/International musical heaven... 29 Juries will vote on the 25 songs from OGAE Clubs over the summer, with results early in September. Albania, Romania, Slovenia and Luxembourg are our Guest Juries this year - all other participating clubs have songs in one of the events. RESULT REVEAL (October 2018)

Of note here are known Eurovision artists (past/future) Clodagh Rogers, Ann Christy, Family Four, Saskia & Serge, Marianne Mendt, Katja Ebstein, Red Hurley, Ricchi e Poveri, Paulo de Carvalho, Korni Group and the Pepe Lienhard Band. This year we welcome back ESTONIA and for the first time its welcome AUSTRALIA! Give these songs a chance - they are 47 years old, so are a World away from the hyper-polished productions of today.
