FORMER YU NATIONS PICK A SONG FROM
MACEDONIA

Congratulations to MACEDONIA and the song "Lidu,
lidu du" by Maja Odzaklievska!
Here are the results of ex-YU selection for
Retro 1983. Each jury awarded maximum 4 pts for the best and minimum 1 point
for the 'worst' song.
1.) Macedonia - 13 pts (1 from SLO, 4 from SRB,
4 from BIH and 4 from CRO)
2.) Serbia - 12 pts (2 from MK, 4 from SLO, 3
from BIH and 3 from CRO)
3.) BIH - 9 pts (3 from MK, 2 from SLO, 3 from
SRB and 1 from CRO)
4.) Slovenia - 8pts (4 from MK, 1 from SRB, 1
from BIH and 2 from CRO)
5.) Croatia - 8 pts (1 from MK, 3 from SLO, 2
from SRB, 2 from BIH)
Please note that a Macedonian song never won
Jugovizija, so this country's entries never represented Yugoslavia, even
though there were some great songs there, including "Lidu, lidu du"!
