02 March 05 - The following announcement to OGAE Clubs made by José J. Santana of OGAE Spain, hosts of Second Chance 2005, after Davinia's win in Sweden:
Dear Friends
After the victory by Davinia in the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2004, OGAE Spain will hold the next edition.
Here you have the timetable and tasks:
MARCH 30: Last day to confirm the participation of your club.
APRIL 30: Deadline for submitting the participation fee and name of the entry (and video if is necessary) to OGAE Spain.
JUNE 30: Deadline to dispatch the production tape or DVD to the clubs by OGAE Spain.
SEPTEMBER 30: OGAE Spain will announce the exact time and location on the internet for the voting sequence so that all clubs can inform their members in advance and the voting can be followed by all those who would like to.
OCTOBER 28: The Great Day, the voting will be done online but all the participant club must have submitted their votes at last two days before the voting night to secure their voting in case of technical problems. Results can be revealed publicly on websites after the voting online is completed.
SONGS CAN ONLY ENTER THE SCC 2005 IF:
A) They were performed at a public televised national selection for Eurovision Song Contest and failed to win the national Eurovision Pre-selection process.
B) At least two songs have been performed during the Pre-selection.
C) OGAE Clubs that are ineligible to participate in the OGAE Second Chance Contest due to having no internal selection or because their country does not enter the ESC, can join the OGAE SCC as an honorary jury. These clubs can vote using the same system as the other clubs and the rules set by organiser.
OGAE Clubs to inform OGAE Spain as soon as possible the responsible person with the mail of your club for the OGAE Second Chance Contest.
