COMMENTS

David Bridgman

Nice to see that Sweden have selcted a distinctly average entry this year - so hopefully no victory for them! General standard this year is pretty good save for the Irish and German dirges. Songs that live forever? I don't think so.

David Allan

Not the best set of songs I have ever heard.

Gary Brown

Some excellent songs and some poor songs - Poland outstanding!

Douwe Reveler

Comment: Such a strong contest this year with some outstanding songs particularly from Israel, Norway and Portugal - Wonder how they would have fared in Athens ....

Andrew England

Denmark Are Gr8 Good Luck Kristine.

Neil Blanks

Pretty much the same.  Finland, UK, Ireland, Germany and Ukraine at least tried to be different.  The quality, however, I thought was quite high.  Liked Finland's 'James Bond' song though

Dean Asker

Sweden, Norway or (hopefully) Slovenia!

Martin Dix

Much better line up than last year!

David Elder

Victory to the Great Gucci Girls!!!

Keith Foord

Absolutely fabulous,not!

Ace Frehmen

not a bad selection, some were better than their eurovision entries.

Martyn Clarke

What a poor selection! No wonder this lot didn't get to Athens - only Slovenia or Malta would have had any chance of "troubling the judges". Some of these were painful to listen to - Ukraine in partic. Prob the worst selection for Second Chance ever. Very disappointing!

Stephen Boddington

not another Swedish win, please!

Glen Webb

Victory for Denmark surely - the class act of the line up

Brian Gilbert

The crappiest UK entry for years

Bryan Craythorne

Songs are either brilliant or weak, overall a great contest

Aaron Galliano

Best 2nd Chance for years and years. Well done Europe !.. Love listening to the selection

Gary Shackles

Got to be Slovenia's year--- always send the wrong song to ESC, so please let them win this instead.

Neil Durham

Really difficult to pick a favourite. Both Mandoline and Ab Fab should have gone to Athens. I'm mad for Shangain Valot but fear it would have bombed, it's certainly not a winner. Suspect Temple of Love would have done better than Evighet and, although Everything was my fave from 2006, Welcome To The Party may have done better than 9th. I watched the Danish selection and can't remember Make This Night Forever but it's a great little ballad and certainly classier than Twist of Love.

Gary Peile

That German song was just ghastly!

Jess Cully

Long live the Second Chance Contest

Martin Haster

a very good selection of songs and some real show stoppers

Andy Brook

The only song I will listen to for a fourth time is Finland, which is a superb song

Andrew Cross

So difficult to choose a favourite. Great selection. Should be a close run thing this year. Can Finland do the double?

Sam Broderick

Macedonia, Denmark and Netherlands all the way... A weak year tbh, these are the only songs I properly *like*
