| 16 Sep 06 | Norway, Turkey and Greece take us to 18 entries. Ireland and Wales announce their songs. |

There will be no preliminary
round this year, 20 or 21 songs will compete directly into the final. Countries that already
confirmed their participation are (in alphabetical order):
Algeria, China, Chile (for
the first time), England, France (last year winner), Ireland, Israel,
Italy (organiser), Malta, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Spain, USA
and Wales.
As usual the CD will be released and sent to jury coordinators in December. |
