BACKGROUND
To Celebrate 50 Years of Eurovision, Sechuk.com gave visitors the chance to vote on the best performing songs from each of the 44 Nations that have taken part 1956-2005. 300 people took up the challenge!
The provisional list was changed after the results of the 2005 Contest in Kyiv. Greece, Romania and Belarus registered their best Eurovision result in 2005. National OGAE Fan Clubs also had a chance to change their listed song, with several of them holding a Club vote to determine the best entry for their country (eg: Italy, Sweden, Finland and Malta).
Voting ran from 17 June to midnight on 05 August 2005.

SONG CHOICES:
1. Song achieving Best Position for each Country.
2. Where more than 1 song has achieved this position, the percentage total votes are the deciding factor (ie: if "song A" scored 198 out of a possible 264 points (75%) and "song B" scored 151 out of a possible 216 (69.9%) then "song A" is selected.
NOTES:
A. OGAE Fan Clubs could replace the selected song before 17 June 05.
B. If any country's 2005 Entry improved on the Selected song, the 2005 Entry will replace it, unless the OGAE Fan Club of that country decided otherwise.
C. Voting will run from midnight on 17 June to 05 August 2005, with all Sechuk.Com visitors able to vote on an individual basis - one vote per visitor (valid email addresses must be provided).
