GLOBAL ALTERNATIVE SONG CONTEST 2003
The Global Alternative Song Contest will run along side the OGAE Song Contest this year. Twenty countries will take part.
This is a new Contest for those countries which cannot enter the OGAE Song Contest and is being organised by OGAE UK.
THE DRAW
At the same event as the OGAE Song Contest Draw, the draw for the first Global Alternative Song Contest took place at McDonalds, Southend on Sea, England at 15.30 BST.
Mr. Andrew Terry drew the countries and Mr. Mark Owen drew the numbers. A slight hitch occurred as somehow Greece appeared in the draw and Andorra was missing. Nobody knows how. Andorra therefore took the Greek place in the Order of Presentation. Slight changes have been made to this order in September 2003, following the late addition of Slovakia and the Czech Republic to the list.
