How has the UK spread votes around?

Shown below is a summary of the UK voting since 2nd Chance started in 1987.

In 1987, four countries (including the UK) each entered two songs – figures shown for 1987 are totals awarded to both songs for each country.

Not all countries take part each year. The UK did not participate in 1992. Shaded boxes indicate no entry.

Three ‘Eurovision’ countries have never taken part -  Luxembourg, Monaco and Morocco, although Luxembourg has had an honorary jury. Several new Eurovision countries have also yet to take part (Andorra, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, San Marino). Serbia & Montenegro took part for the first time in 2004, Ukraine in 2006, Serbia alone in 2007.

The UK never voted for Serbia & Montenegro (during its existence). The UK has also yet to vote for Slovakia and Serbia. Figures do not include Retrospective events.
