How has the UK spread votes around? (Now includes 2011)

Shown below is a summary of the UK voting since 2nd Chance started in 1987.

In 1987, four countries (including the UK) each entered two songs – figures shown for 1987 are totals awarded to both songs for each country.

Not all countries take part each year. The UK did not participate at all in 1992 and only as a Guest Jury since 2009. Shaded boxes indicate no song entry.

Three ‘old Eurovision’ countries have never taken part -  Luxembourg, Monaco and Morocco, although Luxembourg has had an honorary jury many times. Several new Eurovision countries have also yet to take part (Albania, Belarus, Czech Republic, Georgia, San Marino). Serbia & Montenegro took part for the first time in 2004, Ukraine in 2006, Serbia alone in 2007 and Andorra and OGAE Rest of the World in 2009. From 2009, OGAE ROW may enter OGAE Second Chance with a song from a national final not represented by another OGAE Club.

The UK never voted for Serbia & Montenegro (during its existence). The UK has also yet to vote for Slovakia and Andorra. Results do not include Retrospective events.
